I haven't tried the Good to Go Mushroom Risotto, but I have it. I tried the Good to Go Pad Thai, which is a no go unless you really want something more like Singapore Rice Noodles. I love Pad Thai but Good to Go's version doesn't resemble it at all. I've also tried their Smoked Three Bean Chili. On it's own it's ok but I ended up adding sour cream to it and it was much better. I will have to try to add the powder sour cream to see if I can get the same taste. Maybe adding a stick of cheese like you did for the lasagna would help too.

Outdoor Pantry's Beef & Lamb Gyros w/noodles and Tzatziki sauce. I keep them in stock in my backpacking larder. Packit Gourmet's Good Day Sunshine Bowl is the best oatmeal you will eat on trail, and their Austintacious Tortilla Soup is amazing also. Perfectly balanced flavors and textures. I have more top shelf choices from both of those companies, but I'll keep it short. :)
I agree on the Mt House Lasagna and would add their Biscuits & Gravy. I just got some next Mile Meals to try, so I am glad to hear you like that one.

I am with you on Mountain House Lasagna. The Next Mile meals are interesting as I do most of my hike meals DIY and meat is hard to prepare. Non Keto folks could this as a topper on a handful of instant rice and split it. A good spice kit goes a long way to turn garbage to edible.

The mountain house chicken and dumplings is hard to beat. Their turkey casserole is awesome as well. I found some toasted garlic bread bagel chips at dollar tree that I always take when I have the lasagna or spaghetti meals. mmmmm!

I've been eating next mile since before they had to change all the names of their meals, for legal reasons.
I can tell you've been shopping on GGG haven't you!

Dixie, I was a big fan of your until I watched this video. You must be pulling in a load of money these days to be able to spent that kind of money on one meal.

Since I don't backpack anymore, but travel and camp on the motorcycle, I will keep one or two in reserve, but I will try to find a local grocer for fresh food.

Don t buy wise foods stroganoff had to pack it out because we all would rather starve than it eat it. More expensive isn t always better quality or taste.
