Next time you're in NC, hop over to the Dupont State Forest if you want some beautiful waterfall scenery. We live in NC and have visited most of the state's falls over the years, and Dupont has some of the most picturesque. You were about 1 hour west of Dupont when you were in Cashiers. It's near Brevard. Enjoyed following you on the AT last year. Hope to see your adventures continue on the PCT sometime soon. My son and I will be doing the JMT this July so we'll see at least that section of the PCT. Looking forward to it!

Hey Dixie great video and your AT videos were great to! If you ever get to where your just not sure what trail to hike try out the Sheltowee Trace Trail in Kentucky which is about 280 miles in length and beautiful overlooks and gorges. It starts in northern Kentucky and travels south to northern Tennessee! Keep the videos coming!

if you're looking to go waterfall watching you have to go see Looking Glass, Triple, High, and Hooker falls. they're all pretty much within the same loop trail and they're some of my favorites! I love the mountains but I am proud to have grown up in the Land of Waterfalls

I've been there, it a great place. The foothills trail is over that way. it's about an 80 mile trail that goes from Oconee state park to table rock state park just over the border in DC. give it a try sometime. if yes need it, I've got a trail book for it.

That is awesome and looks totally like something I can add to my must see list since NC is on the east coast. I hope to make it to trail days in Damascus and hope to get a section or two in this spring. Awesome video and we love seeing you out & about!

This is the area where I have fallen in love with and has inspired me to hike. I am from Pennsylvania but my daughter moved to Mountain Rest SC which is not far from Whiteside Mountain. I love this area of NC/GA/SC you cannot beat it.

We love this area, we was in that area last summer but the water was not flowing like it was in your video. We are going back this spring and spend a night or 2. Thank you for the video.

Nice country, pretty scenes, there's a bridle vale falls in Yosemite, maybe when you do the PCT you'll get to see it and compare it to the one there.
