Front Royal - a favorite town in Virginia! Each summer for several years, I would attend a music festival named Fishnet each summer. I would drive to Virginia by myself. It really became cool in that each year would make new friends and spend time with old friends I met at the festival. Alas some good things come to an end.
The last festival was in 2008 - I miss the friends with whom I became acquainted with at the campsite.

These videos are really great. I can't Thru Hike the AT right now due to some life responsibilities I am dealing with, but these videos allow me to hike vicariously. Thanks so much for taking the time to collect all of this footage. I'm binge watching these pretty hardcore right now. Thanks again!

Awesome sunset, also cool about the ringneck snake tagging along. Me and a buddy rented a cabin in a WV state park to do some cycling once, we found five baby ringnecks in the first 10 minutes, needless to say we went to the park office and demanded another cabin.

Dixie woah O. o You carry a 28 lbs bag? Lol I have the same pack in men's and carry a 20 lbs bag but I ain't hiking the AT until 7 years when I'm 18 but lol what do I know (Btw nice series; )

Jalisco, the best Mexican restaurant in Front Royal. I love their 1. 99 Margarita Monday special! I live close by in Strasburg and looking forward to passing through on my AT hike in 2019.

great reunion. but i find myself constantly wondering where do they buy those hats evertime i buy a hat the brim is at the front lol (its a aussie joke) Our sun is pretty damn hot.

Was literally just at skyland last weekend. I have been waiting to see them be in Shenandoah. My mom and I met some thru hikers during a hike and I decided I want to do the AT.

and they are eating in my mexican place in Front Royal, VA. I live and work in DC and some days you see hikers in the city, but I never came across a thru hiker in Flint Hill.
