CDT 2018. Wind River Range. Dixie begins to feel a little pressure to make it to Canada before the snow does. Claire: What Thoth said. Never miss your updates. Am 69 and still hiking. Have had a little break this summer due to minor surg issue but headed to N. Idaho this next week to get my legs under me in Priest Lake area. Love your videos. You and your buddies and family are an inspiration! Especially enjoyed the llama meeting. Have done that a couple times in last few years. Great trail companions and I honor them for the load they bear! They kinda spoil ya!

When you make your stops along the trail in towns. What do you feel attracts you the most to a specific lodge or hotel? How far in advance to you plan this stop or do you just go by how you feel on a particular day(give or take? I hope my question(s) come across clear. My reasoning is that I will be potentially running a camp in Wyoming very near Pinedale. I would be interested in attracting hikers. Thank you for your vidoes. Homemade Wanderlust

Pine Squirrels. those little boogers will knock you on the head with a pine cone when you are: getting water, at the latrine, or if given the opportunity. will drop a pine cone in your dinner while you are cooking. Then they scamper off to another branch to give you a piece of their mind! And not to be an internet game warden, but if you are transporting fish. be sure you are aptly licensed in case you get checked: -.

My Friday night: Watching CDT vlogs on one screen, following the CDT on caltopo on the other screen. It's fun seeing where some of these gorgeous views are found. I did a couple hundred miles of the AT about 10 years ago. Life happened, and I haven't hiked since, but this series is prodding the beast from hibernation. I think I'll go for a long walk in the morning. Thanks for your inspiration!

I know you have probably already addressed this in a previous video but why not carry a pair of cheap water shoes from Walmart to slip on for water crossings? I know it is a few more ounces but I think I would rather do that than walk in wet shoes the rest of the day. You could even slip them on when it rains while you are walking on relatively flat ground.

OK. LOL I was hiking that area in June. You are almost to the Grand Tetons and in fact you may be there by the time this was posted. The 3 Sisters offer amazing views and if you reach the top of them, you can actually Look Down on airplanes, as they land in Jackson Hole Wy. I can't wait to see next week!

Thought I'd share a comfortable way that I cross streams. I take off the shoes and socks then replace the shoes. Walk across then dry my feet and put on Sealskinz waterproof socks, replace the shoes and they gradually dry but and you don't even notice. No feet injuries and no blisters

What flies did you find that work well in that Wind River Range? I fly fish occasionally in which you have a spool of line length, but with a fixed line length for Tenkara; what is the total length of line that was working for you?

Okay, so we the 'forum members' need to sign, date and seal a certificate for Aaron and his work through these three 'hikes'. Thats gotta be some powerful resume status if you get 130, 000 signatures that sya yep! He's good.

It's so interesting that now we are coming more and more near the actual date of today. I've been binge watching all your videos in less than a week now and I'm really hooked. I wanna do at least one thru-hike too soon.
