The horrendously ugly steering wheel destroys the looks of the interior. The gaudy oversized catfish grill ruins the exterior. The 2019 Sonata was extremely tasteful. This Sonata is poorly designed artistically. The 2020 Hyundai Venue and 2020 Hyundai Accent are examples of genius vehicular architecture. What went wrong here?

I love the steering wheel and integrated screen on the right. I think the best way to measure interior room is to measure from the firewall to the rear seat backrest. I don't see why manufacturers who offer more seat travel should be penalised, and some manufacturers have deeper front footwells which increases legroom too.

Smaaaaaaht Paaaaaaahk Great review as usual, Alex Hyundai/Kia/ Genesis are swinging for the fences with every single vehicle they've put out in the past few years. Definitely a polarizing front end but the car will stand out. Hopefully they'll add AWD in the future. Keep the great content coming man and stay safe.

Outside of that ugly face, and the rear end isn't winning any beauty contests either, Hyundai did a fine job with the new Sonata. It may not win a whole lotta market share, but it shouldn't lose anything to the competition. Maintaining sales numbers in a declining market segment is a win these days

The Sonata is definitely my favorite in the segment. A good looking car, great looking interior and no crappy CVT. I am really impressed with Hyundai/Kia/Genesis's vehicle output in the last few years. Awesome review as always

My jaw just dropped after seeing the thumbnail. That is an amazing car. Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis make great reliable cars at good prices compared to the competition

Base trim is pretty cheapo. Upper trims is much better. My biggest issue is their dealers. Not really interested in dealing with a guy on his phone wearing a hoodie.

Does the Sonata have an automatic engine start/stop system? If it doesn't, you should mention that. If it does, you should review how well the system works.
