I have a 03 civic also. and something like this happens to me. it turn on perfectly everyday. but I drive and lets say I go to the store. and get back after 5 mins the car wont start. so I would crank and it wont start. I would wait 15 to 20 mins and the car starts good again. idk what can it be. fuel pump or to much gas that it flooded. any idea? Cause it turns on perfect but after a drive if I turn it off I have to wait for like 15 to 20 mins and it would turn on

My car would do the same thing after I drive it for 30 min or more then come home and park and say I want to leave again in 10 min I would go start my car up and would so the same crank but wont start and I would press gas pedal to see if it stays on but it does down. But after 15 - 20 min of waiting i crank it again & it turns on as if there was not problems but the cycle keeps repeating itself

True story, my union president called me one day saying hes at a gas station down the road! Him and another guy tried jumping his car to no avail! So I get there, mind you these are two 50 y/o men, and the jumper cables are still hooked up, I look under the hood and these two idiots have the cables hooked to the red and black rubber that covers the battery posts! Amazing

To extend on your Honda radio code knowledge, most of the time you can find the code for the radio (and the GPS code if applicable) on a little white sticker somewhere on the car. Usually it is stuck on the sidewall of the glovebox either on the inside or outside (I've seen it on both. Another spot would be on the inside of the fuse panel lid under the hood. You're welcome: )

I just see this video yesterday because I was having problems with the 2005 Honda civic EX itwas doing the same thing that the car in the video is doing I went to takeoff the old one and the same thing in the video that hes talking about thats what happened to mine I just cleaned it out but I still went and got a new one in the car works fine was a Lotta help good looking

Quick question I have a 1999 Toyota Camry LE 4 cylinder and its throwing EGR Valve code I took it to my local shop but it is still throwing egr valve codes I dont understand why they told me that its the lines that are full of carbon the car has 186700 miles on the car please help or give me instructions on what to do

Im currently working on a 03 Civic with the same no start issue. I unhooked the fuel line on the fuel rail, and its getting fuel, replaced the factory glow plugs, tested and cleaned the fuel injectors. If this turns out to be the prob, Im gonna ghost ride it off a cliff, then go put a head gasket on my Subaru!

Just think there was a day before the EPA started mandating emission standards and cars didn't have EGR valves. Of course, the engines were easier to work on back then and this problem would not have existed. Thank you government! Having said all of that Eric O is one good mechanic!

Diagnosed my 2000 Honda accord 2. 3 same exact way confirmed with a code reader live data, intake temp at 300 degrees, fuel trim short and long at around -19 also engine load read at 48% at idle, I had a check engine light for a p1399 only, all is good now after a little egr cleaning

If I take my battery off for any reason, the learn data in the main ECU is lost, when I reconnect my battery I have to drive 30 miles at different conditions so it flashes the memory from the factory map to how I drive, just wonder if that is the same with the little Honda.
