Sell your car for free with Carwow: Say hello to the Rimac Nevera R! It’s the hardcore version of Rimac’s blisteringly fast Nevera, and Mat’s flown over to Croatia to find out just what’s changed. Regarding the design, the Nevera R immediately looks more menacing from the outside. Up front there’s a larger, more aggressive-looking front splitter to send additional air into the radiator, the headlamps have also been extended to help give it more presence. Along the side of the car, the vents have increased in size to allow more air to flow through from the front, and the surroundings of the windows have been updated to make them seem wider. The most notable change to the car is found around the back, with an absolutely huge fixed rear wing! There’s also a large split diffuser to be found at the bottom of the car, too. The interior is largely the same as the regular Nevera, although there are a few changes. Most notably, the exterior colour is now available on the inside, so the colour seamlessly flows from the outside in. What’s more, in order to help with the 25kg weight reduction, there is absolutely loads of Alcantara to be found. From the steering wheel to the seats and dashboard - it’s everywhere! Then, of course, we come to the power. The Nevera is still powered by four electric motors, and whereas they usually combine to produce 1, 914hp, in the Nevera R they now produce 2, 107hp! This helps propel the car to 300km/h in just 8. 66 seconds - half a second quicker than the standard car! It also flies to 62mph in just 1. 81 seconds. This car is absolutely bonkers! But of course, all this power doesn’t come cheap. Whereas the Nevera costs from 2, 000, 000, the Nevera R costs from 2, 300, 000. So is it worth the extra 300k You’ll need to stick with Mat and find out for yourself! The Nevera VS the SF90 in a drag race on CARWOW. The Nevera gave him a few seconds Head start, a few seconds later the Nevera blew past him like the SF90 was not even moving. The craziest thing I've ever seen! Maybe it was actually a roll race where he gave him a head start and then blew by him like he was sitting still. Either way it was the fastest car I ever seen

My dude just said you can still use Cup 2 tires in every day driving, like he doesnt know the rain falls on Earth.
Before you attack with nonesense, yes, driving normally in the rain will feel the same. Until you have energency braking or sharp manoeuver. In such expensive and powerful car, i would never risk it, i would only use PS 4 S.

It is sad that the main problem of the original Nevers is not addressed. The car is only 35kg lighter, has more power and downforce, so it will eat tyres even faster on the track. It will be among the best in straight-line acceleration and top speed runs, but I have my doubts that it will beat the Swedish gentleman and his company.

that german born designer is not only extremely eloquent and precise i his explanations on every detail on the car, but remarkably virtuoso in english tongue, a rare momentum in Car World. Brilliant guy. Mat seems to have to concentrate to get all : -)

Reminiscent of the Nevera, but absolutely stunning and completely different from the original car. Ironic seeing how good this car looks and it being released today when lambo released an absolute abomination of a car today.

Rimac is Interesting. Good job on the overall package. Interior/Exterior design 10/10. Power Unit 10/10. Performance 10/10. Overall Score 100/100. Hypercar Redefined. The wing is awesome but not as badass like the GT 3 RS.

I always thought that the Nevera was an incredible car which only looked ok but not particularly pretty. The R and its front end in particular are a marked improvement. And the performance is ballistic.

There’s just something about an electric car that fails to entice me. Maybe it’s the lack of sound or the fact that it weighs as much as a PeterBuilt. Give me an ICE car all day long.

If this is a street legal car, then a compulsory eye test should be made upon purchase. If you’re hitting 60 in 1. 7 seconds then you really need to see every single object coming towards you.

Who cares, it's still an environment destroying electric pile of sht. I'm dead serious as well. The amount of cobalt and lithium in this car is insane and both are 80-90% slave traded

Tests of EVs - especially sportcars and hypercars - should by default mention braking distance at standard speeds. That will push lightweight and tech even more then just increasing hp.

This is going to just track weapon, love what Rimac is doing, can't wait to see their future products
Great video Matt when are you doing campus tour and Rimac Nevera order

I like normal Nevera, cuz it looks more like GT car, without big spoilers Rimac Nevera - Time Attack is my favorite and Nevera that was in Goodwood park circuit this year.

Looks more like a facelift version, but still would not buy a 2. 3 mill hypercar that’s need a new battery every 10y. Even with a P1 with small battery pack this is an issue
reply

Funny how these car manufacturers get so much praise for building something that can only be accessed by the extremely rich. There is no achievement there.
reply

The theatre of Rimac
doesn’t match its speed. Pagani and Koenigsegg may not be as fast but they are so much more as a sensory experience.

reply

This is the exact scenario in car games where you buy a stock car and you go to the garage and install some body kits, rims, spoilers, and paint.

The numbers of the nevera is way to Bad. No one wants to spend 2 Million on a E. V. which will lose 20% of its Price in the First year
reply

I like the front and the rear that looks very similar to the Aventador 50th Anniversario with 50% more aerodynamic. Now the side is hmm
