These comparisons annoy me so much when you don’t get the factors right. In the roll races, in efficient settings Matt still had the f90 in setting 3 on the gear box. In the roll races, setting off from 50 in 3rd is completely different in the f10 to the F90, the f10 is 7 speed and has a very long 2nd and 3rd gear. You need to take this into account in future races to make it a fair comparison.
Also the f10 should have the owner or someone that knows them well driving it, you do not use launch control on these cars as it can break the diff brace, and even if you do use it, you do not engage it how he said you do.

After my E39 Msport, I skipped the E60 and the F10, but hooked up with the G30 (Sport Line. I found the F10 rather dull and the G30 put some pleasure into driving again. Between the two, I had a beast of a N54/DCT E92 with almost 500hp. Despite a Quaife LSD and wiiide Pilot Sport 4s, it was very difficult to put the power down in any weather.

Who knew adding more weight would make it slower.
This is why the F90 always dominated the RS6/7, similar or more power, less weight and aerodynamics.
This RS6/7 beating a G90 is going to be a hollow victory to say the least. Much prefer the F90.

The F90 looks great and the engine is proper but boy the tranny is bad. It's so slow on the shifts, it's not even funny. If they would have gone DCT, it might have been the best M5 ever. Now the E39 will wear the crown forever.

The soft limited on the F90 is temperature related. It'll disappear after you drive it a bit or it warms up. The new one has a graphic to show that but the old one doesn't, same with other M cars that seem to have soft limiters

the new m5 is not only slower but ugly af too, it's makers did a huge blunder by giving it better launch control at the cost of heavy weight, because of this it will always loose in the long run. EMBARRASSING!

I'm so glad I was right about the F90 from the onset. How i wish they'd lower the prices a bit more slightly though! The F90/G30 chassis is like the E46 marque. So good, it can't be repeated. Quite epic!

is there a bigger fall off than the m5 with the G90, possibly one of the worst cars ever made, 2. 6tonne monstrosity. Literally everything thats wrong with the eco movement personified

Of course, the f90 will Win, it's 540kg lighter than the g90
If the g90 weighed around 2000kg it would definitely Win. But since it doesn't it came second.

No way that F90 has a stock exhaust. I've got the same car and mine doesn't sound anywhere near as good as that in sport mode!

My 3013 PWG 535 runs a 12. 9 to 13. 0 un a non prepped surface. Just a down pipe and it's stage 2 tune. Faster than this F10 M5.
