What everyone seems to not know is how you get so much HP out of a small engine like in the mercedes. The turbo is kicking in very late and so the rev range where it actually makes 500nm is very narrow. This is why HP is not everything and why the old saying no replacement for displacement is still relevant.

I don't understand why carwow randomly chooses when to show or not to show the stats on the screen for comparison. It only makes sense to do that for this video because there are 3 cars here. It helps. In fact, the entire narration can be replaced by a few seconds of shows the stats comparison table. Come on!

Not only, in my humble opinion, roasted the nog real M car the RS3 and AMG. Want to see this battle again when they all have 62. 000 miles on the counter. That BMW engine will easily do 180. 000 miles, giving the same performance and having no engine issues while the over-tuned 2. 0 AMG is long gone

The front end of the beemers pretty damn ugly! I used to have the older version of this model which looked much better but impressive performance from it never the less. The new design guy needs sacking he's made the ugliest range of BMW's in existence.

I think the m240i is the closest competitor of a45 and Rs3 as it it already a 3L. the upcoming M2 will be high in specs. so it will be unfair to compare it to the rs3 and a45s

Power wise the BMW is tops once again after a long time they rulebook! but looks wise it doesn't match up like yester years, they used to be very fast good looking sport sedans.

the merc makes the other 2 cars look low rent though! so ugly the rs3 with that grill and big plastic panel on rear! bmw looks good and bargain id say!

Matt VBOXd the CLA45S and M240i in his test drives and the CLA was faster 0-60 and 1/4 mile. Who was driving the CLA here? Something not right.
