Introducing the all-new BMW 7 Series & all-electric i7! Don t worry, there isn t a concept car insight in this video - this is what these new cars will actually look like! So let s take a closer look Both the 7 Series & i7 are remarkably similar, which means both look less aggressive than the previous-generation 7 Series, coming with a massive grille upfront, flush door handles, and a much cleaner rear end. If anything, the rear design makes it look a bit old fashioned! Step inside, and there are luxurious designs and materials throughout the entire cabin. Both cars come with BMW s curved infotainment screen, which is attached to a minimalist dash. There are also a number of trims and materials to choose from, too, including cashmere seat fabric! The biggest improvement to the interior, though, is definitely in the rear. Back seat passengers will have the option to reveal a 31 8k cinema screen which is also accompanied by 36 speakers throughout the cabin! It s also possible to recline the rear seats to truly enjoy your movies in style & comfort. There are a load of engines & batteries to choose from, with the 7 Series range-topper being the M760e hybrid, which combines an engine and motors to deliver 571hp and to hit 60mph in around 4. 3 seconds. BMW has also confirmed an i7 M70 is on the way in the future, which should be good for 660hp & 1, 000Nm! So what do you think - are we looking at the must-have luxury limos of 2022 & 2023? Stick with Mat to see for yourself!

Things said by BMW Chief Designer Domagoj Dukec about the recent BMW design language:
BMW is undergoing a time of transformation.
We are not designing cars in the future. In the future we are designing the experience of joy.
The first rule of BMW design is be stunning, the joy of wow.
We want to show that less can be more
any BMW should always be recognized from front, side, and rear.
Is it good or bad? Let's see.
Thoughts? Sounds like they're just throwing weird attention-grabbing design cues against the wall and seeing what sticks.

Nice car, great design, could be a strong contender on the used car market in a few years if it will be way cheaper than all the much better-looking rivals and if you don t care about the fact that you are driving a car designed by a pre-schooler and the fact that now the ultimate driving machine is long wheel base only and the fact that parts of the interior design(steering wheel, double tablets, seat controls on the doors) were available in the 2013 S Class

First I thought that front end looks so much better, actually good, on the X7. Then I went and looked at pics of the X7, and they have taken that front end and butchered it. The X7's new lights and whole front fascia (pretty good looking) have been mutilated to make the front end of this. What a damn shame.
And that rear? WTH is up with all that empty space? And just total trash proportions everywhere.

Cars are rapidly losing the victorian'ish idea of luxury with jewelry like buttons and fine leather and instrument clusters, and replacing it with cyberpunk futurism and screens. Part of me welcomes it, but the other part thinks it is a shame. Expensive looking cars are so amazing. I don't think these tech cars feel expensive.

Fugly from the front, coma inducing blandness from the side and, unsurprisingly, rather boring from the rear too. The entire BMW exterior styling department needs to be sacked and replaced. Mercedes are wiping the floor with them in the looks department of late.

What's getting wrong with these German car designs nowadays?
Neither BMW 7th series nor Mercedes S-Class looks cooler anymore. The older ones were much more generous to my eyes.
Hyundai/KIA's is doing much better in terms of design elements.

Idk what it is but if you've ever owned a older BMW even up to 2015 there seems like theres a change at BMW. Even if u get a full spec model they feel so cheap and plasticky, they're fast but lifeless, it's just not the same anymore.

The 660 hp i7 M70 sounds good until you realize a compact KIA EV6 GT can be had with 576 hp. Or a Tesla Model S Plaid with 1, 020 hp. Or a Lucid Air with 1, 111 hp. But the Ultimate Driving Machine has a giant screen in the backseat

- Front lights look like a shitty rip off of Audi
- Front grill still looks terrible / not fit for EV
- Is the back more boring than a Tesla? It's close.
- Interior screens look like shitty rip off of Cadillac
LOL BMW
