I own a 1962 Studebaker GT (Gran Turismo) Hawk. It's my first car, and I bought it when I was only 18 years of age. I'm 19 now. In my limited experience, it is a great car with a fantastic story behind it. However, because barely anyone has heard of it nowadays and those that do normally think of Studes as stodgy for some reason, dollar values remain pitiful. That said, I enjoy mine immensely. As for color, it is a non-factory green exterior with the factory-correct AQUA interior. It sounds awful, I know, but it looks fantastic once you see it. I can't explain why. It just works for some unfathomable reason and I'm glad of it Great video BTW

My 2 weekend toys are grey and white, both where limited editions from 2010 and 2014, my white car never technically came in white except for 2 limited edition models the Astra VXR Nurburgring and Astra VXR Arctic Edition, mines is an Arctic (1of350) My grey car is a 2014 Corsa VXR Clubsport, i bought a grey one because it was the only unique colour of this limited edition run car (1of264) so i chose the 2 colours that are only available on limited editions. I reeeaaalt want a flashy colour tho. My astra coupe bertone is in titan gold from 2001

my friend has a 2002 Ford f150 that silver. He bought it brand new and had nothing to do with the color though it did look nice he said. And he's a Mennonite and he had nothing but black cars all his life and they're allowed to have one black car and another car that's if it's you know your work truck or whatever he's a landscaper and it's a good truck it looks good. the only bad thing about silver and white vehicles is in foggy weather if people don't have their headlights with you don't see him, until they smashed into you.

I actually like white cars especially the rare matte white. But wouldn't want to own one for sure. Black is one of my favorites along dark satin grey. I like vibrant colors as well. Silver cars however are disgusting. Silver is a deal breaker for me. The actual worst thing is chrome accents. Who made them standard on every single production vehicle in existence? I hate it with a passion. Color matched or black/white accents look way better. Hell, I think even those ugly old wood panel cars look better than stuff with chrome.

sorry guys you didn't search enough about the origins of colors, the white trend comes from the east, in asia and middle east white is synonymous to luxury and purity, long ago you could see white rolls in china or emirates. and people around the world found that cool to see a white supercar. it's also the color of japan for racecars, just like italian cars were red, british green, french blue, silver german. but i agree on the fact that cars are boring now, and i've had 2 purple cars and i loved them.

Very wasteful. I mean, 40 thousand fish? Is that before or after they sell all the actual fish meat? Do they just scale the fish and throw the rest away? Is PETA actually concerned about eating fish and throwing away the scales? Or are these fish just harvested for scales and they throw away the meat? I'm really confused as to how this is a bad thing. Do we kill cows just for leather? Or does someone actually eat them, too?

Maybe more people think about their cars as appliances than they did in the past, and therefore pick colors that are less personalized. Also, cars which have the most perceived utility value (SUVs, Trucks, mid sized, and family cars) are usually going to be less colorful, while small cars and sports cars are more expressive. I'm no expert, just some ideas I thought weren't shared in the video.

When I got my car, white was the free color, any other even gray or black was 600 more minimum, it's not that I can't afford it, but it wasn't worth it to me when I know it's just nickel and diming from the manufacturer like many other options. Which is a shame because Toyota has some great red and blues.

The insurance thing is an old myth. Most insurance companies don't even ask for the color of your vehicle now when you add it to a policy. A few do, but it's not going to be something that affects your premium. Source: I sold insurance at a major U. S. insurance company for the last few years.
