The Audi Quattro is one of the most legendary rally cars of all time. From Audis dominance in Group B rally racing to their luxurious sports cars of today, Quattro has been the defining characteristic of Audi since the early 80s. But have you ever wondered where it all started? Were going Bumper 2 Bumper on the ORIGINAL Audi Ur-Quattro

1: it wasn't a rules change that allowed 4WD on rallying, it's just that nobody thought that 4WD would be reliable or light enough for it to be competitive; 2: the number of cylinders has no relation at all with displacement - you can have 8L 4-cyls and 1, 5L 6-cyls just as easily, cylinder volume isn't constant among engine designs. I had to stop watching after that

9: 30 Don't kneel on an old leather seat like that dude Or any old seat in general. So much pressure on such a small surface area is what tears them or stretches the fabricAlso, 7: 20 Moon-roofs are transparent, while sun-roofs aren't. So that's a sun-roofYou're welcome

When y'all do the start up, ESPECIALLY if you're raving about how the car sounds. PUT A FREAKING MIC BACK THERE So many videos where he starts the car all excited and it sounds like we're listening to it through his lapel mic

This is an Ur-Quattro, the 1st generation. Not the Sport Quattro that came after it. The Sport Quattro had the rear end of the 1st gen and the front end of a different Audi sedan/coupe to achieve a shorter wheelbase.

I had 3 coupe gt quattro's 1 ur quattro 10v and one 20v quattro, one of the best sounding engine's and exhaust notes, horrible nose lift on full throttle, great locking the diffs in snow and having fun

This review kinda made me mad cuz he seemed so hyped that's like one of the coolest cars ever and he didnt really show off the best parts of the car like the sound of the engine he barely revved it

I have the up most respect for all German cars, VW and Audi especially. Now having said that, bring in a Volvo T5 and rev the sh& out of it. I promise that's a good sounding I5. Love you Donut

Wow, that dashboard hit me with a wave of nostalgia taking me back to the first new car I ever bought. No, it wasn't an Audi, it was an '88 VW Fox. But even so, the family resemblance is strong.

Are we just going to ignore the fact that Pumphrey isn't covering this car. I don't know who this guy is and I really don't care. He doesn't have the spark. Beautiful car though.

now at the end of the video and you mullered it, that engine needed a warm up and a serious good rev, that didnt show the sound of that 5 at all. sigh, ahh the memories that brings back
