Sorry Doug can t agree with you on this at all, for few reasons
1. EV craze is not going to last
2. Charging should take more points of practicality
3. Porsche make good sport cars, not family cars, and yes I also mean the same about the Macan, the Cayenne, the Panamera, as well as the Taycan, just look how great is Cayman and how it rises in popularity, while those family Porsche s are just for the sake of branding which doesn t go well with true car enthusiasts

Oh The Smoking Tire I learned that German cargo capacity measurements are only taken up to the bottom of the rear windows in the cargo area. Capacity above that line is not counted which is why Porsche says the Cross Turismo is only 1. 5 cubic feet more than the sedan. In reality and when measured all the way to the roof it's actually quite a bit more space. Weird, but true.

that charge port door opener is absolutely ridiculous. Why? Why would I want to wipe my fingers all around the outside of car? Won t it be dirty from all that off roading? Why put an expensive sensor there instead of a button? You took the German engineering meme too far, Porsche.

Us allowing them to call a car without a turbo from a brand that has only ever called their turbo cars turbo is why we have Crossover Coupes with 4 doors. Sometimes its good to nip the problem in the butt before companies get too far up their own asses in branding

I love the design, quality, speed of this car but there's too much screen. The vent situation is pretty ridiculous. And aren't new car owners getting distracted by all the information in front of them?

do not compare the turbo with highlander or other - not engine related - marketing terms. turbo on an e-car is like printing V12 on a V6 or 16V on an 8v engine; -) Anyway another good video; -)

Porsche decided not to just slam a tablet onto the dashboard as an afterthought like everybody else in the industry. I am glad they don't follow the terrible trends set by this Musk dude.

The reason for less cargo space is the subwoofer that comes standard with the Turbo S sound system, it's integrated behind the rear seats under the cargo floor panel.

Just cannibalising audi if you ask me. Porsche has become a Gentelman's Car if you will, while Audi has become what? a Peasants Car? And that Volkswagen becomes?
