2022 Lexus IS500 review! The Lexus IS 500 is a V8-powered sport sedan -- and maybe the last one in existence. Today I'm reviewing the IS500 and I'll show you all the quirks and features of the new IS500, and I'll show you what it's like in this V8 sedan. I'm also driving the IS500 and I'll show you what it's like to drive the new Lexus IS500. lindaM: I drive an F20 BMW 116i 2013 model n I'm pretty sure by now real drivers can actually appreciate the unconventional 'annoying' turn signal stalk operation. It, frankly, does make quick lane changes feel more ergonomic and effortless by minimising the drivers interaction with the control stalks while also making it clear to fellow road users your lane change intentions. Amount of turn signal flashes are also configurable to suit your environment/needs. South African, young driver

I wish I was born 20 years earlier so I could have experienced several decades of new, manual sports cars with exciting engines. It stings more when you have only had a small amount of life being interested in cars to experience the last of the naturally aspirated engines. I get why gearheads that are 40+ are less distrught over the change, but not everyone has even gotten the time to experience many of these cars yet.
I saw this coming and bought an old car recently, but just starting out has gotta look pretty grim.

Lol Doug really kinda hating on the car. when he said the look on the outside is getting old. like really the car just had a refresh on the outside and it's old already not even 5 years yet on the outside appearance and it's old looking. really. nah that right there just goes to show you how alot of car reviewers really give asian cars a hard time for what I don't know and truthfully its getting old now.

BMW is always the root for bad ideas.
Think about the adjusting radio by circling and waving the hand in front of the screen.
It's slow, misleading for the system and they want money for that garbage. The last good BMW was build in 1998.
And the motorbikes are worse. You should google BMW rubber cow or in german BMW Gummikuh

God, I hate how people use market segments and size classes for comparison. Even if regulatory bodies put the Civic still into the compact car segment the Civic is not a compact car anymore it is a mid-sized car in everything but segment. Or are people really thinking, this 4. 5m Civic is totally as compact as a VW Golf with 4. 3m

I miss CD players. They just work. No connection issues to the car, no cell service issues, no dropouts, it just plays really good quality audio. A CD player must be incredibly inexpensive these days so I don't see them wasting too much money on them. That's actually a huge plus to me, especially in cars that have Mark Levinson sound.

I seriously don't get this turn signal hate.
I really don't find it to be so difficult to turn on or off the indicators, and especially not nearly as difficult as you make it look.
In fact, I drove BMWs with turn signal stocks like that, and I actually _liked_ them, I think they felt rather satisfying to operate.

The F brand was terrible. They also had the F sport packages which were appearance packages. Obviously BMW did this with M and Mercedes did this with AMG. But the thing is those brands had clout before they watered them down. Lexus watered down the brand before anyone actually cared about it.

That is why I prefer buying older cars in general as I myself use CDs or Sirius XM instead of putting all my albums on some apple app
One huge benefit of this car in 15-20 years it will still work and be fun to drive while Tesla 3 be one dead battery on scrap yard before 15 years is up

Doug, for the 2022 model it says that the 10. 3 inch infotainment is a TOUCH SCREEN. Please find a is350 or something for More doug demuro and review the infotainment: P Still is not a perfect infotainment, but you can do your thing with apple carplay or android auto.
