Just finished reading the one year review of the Alfa Giulia in the August 2019 edition of Car & Driver. After all the problems with their test car and the fact it spent almost 3 months in the shop being repaired, I am disappointed in their quality. I am going to buy a new sedan this fall and the Alfa Giulia was high on my list. But after Car & Driver stated stay away from this car page 78, I have narrowed it down to BMW or Lexus. I really like the look of the Giulia but I do not want the reliability headaches of a 80, 000 car. Sorry Alfa Romeo but your not ready to lead the pack.

hey this is an older video but i just saw this. i had one of the first ones, my msrp was 89, 000. just sold it 2 months ago. well quirks and features. very annoying is the electronic throttle disengages and leaves you dead stick in corners where you need to power out. so no heel toe or Shue left foot braking. electronic problems wazzoo after 2 years and 50% loss of value in terms of money retrieved at sale. doug you rock love your viewpoints on your vids

I am Italian, and I say: Alfa Romeo and that's it If you like an irreproachable assembly and you look for the polish finishes and the last electronics gadget buy german or japanese, bat thats are prissy and nonchalant. If you are looking for passionate lover who is always generous with you: Alfa Romeo without hesitation. Bat attenction; she is female and jealous. Alfa Romeo to get dressed your personality, and want to share with you, your emotions.

Alfa Romeo is the only brand that managed to built a Boxy car that still looked beautiful. Im referring to the old Gulias. And that they constantly break down is just a myth, the fact is that when a majority maintenance schedule is due, you have to do it, period. Its not like a japanese car where you can say ok i leave it a bit more than i do it later. Just do the freaking maintenance.

No Doug Score? Why didn't you say anything about the engine being built by Ferrari? Dude, you should have checked what Clarkson had to say about it before, not that he's a better person, but he was generations more informed than you on this case. Nevertheless a fantastic car. I have just finished watching Davide Cironi's review of it and frankly. It pees on BMW

I never saw 191 mph proof. Where is the PROOF that FERRARI made the engine. May be the POPE blessed the car. Car sound like stone grounding machine. Drive that car for two hours and you will be deaf for some time. This is Italian car. Talk to me after 4 years when start fouling a part. ALFA ROMEO dealers are closing down as quickly as they opened.

Well, I have some bad news Gentleman. read Car and Driver 8/2019 (VOL. 65 NO. 2) 40K mile review. Let me quote the last paragraph of the article: we went from recommending that people buy the Giulia QFs to recommending that they lease the Giulia QFs to recommending that they stay away from the Giulia QF's altogether.

I really enjoyed your review It was simplistic, yet informative. It is the best review I have seen on that car, so far I love the car My only concern is its reliability Your review seems honest and coincides with other reviews, but your personality gives me more confidence in wanting to go get that car Thank u
