The Lexus LFA Is the 400, 000 Supercar Nobody Talks About

Thanks to Audi Bridgewater: The Lexus LFA is an ultra-rare, ultra-fast supercar that cost around 400, 000 when it was new in 2011 and 2012 -- and yet, nobody talks about it. I've reviewed an LFA to show you what it's like -- and I've given it a DougScore. DougScore details here

So, I just finished watching a NatGeo vid about the LFA factory. I recommend watching it. They go into detail about that exhaust note Doug is in love with. Pretty interesting stuff, Yamaha helped design the engine. Yamaha also makes musical instruments. They made one helluva instrument out of the top of that engine, then coax that sound into the cockpit. Really crazy stuff. I want one. Now. It's has occurred to me that my above comment is nothing new to any of you. Just me. So, let's just say I'm talking to myself, mkay?

Who TF would drive a car like this long distances? That goes for every car along the same value. These are the only cars that really increase in value over the years. U must minimize and preserve. Theyre collectors items. You take your 20-80k vehicle long distances. Driving on highways especially, do so much damage to the paint. So stop wondering why the trunks are small. Doug.

It probably didn't sell well because of all the procedural things you've got to do just to start it or put it in reverse. It's not very practical. It's a certain way they want you to wet it, plus you have to manually keep the hood up. Seems like a lot of work for a 400, 000 car. But the sound is incredible I have to admit.

I said this years ago. the LFA has to be one of the best sounding supercars out there. Such a loud and unique v10 engine noise. Beautiful. and the zonda sounds really good and ferrari f50. Lambs. Porsche and other v10s and 12s are similar to me. and the beautiful v8s in McLaren. Love cars lol.

Umm because its over priced and its really not that fast and its a clean car but nothing out the ordinary stop with the hype already if it was special like other cars they would've built this but i forgot thats another problem aftermarket there none for this car very minimal parts

The front of this car looks so basic to be worth 380k. And the manual hood struts, that is a gimmick. No wonder you never hear f this car because people arent trying to buy it like that. This car is a Toyota so obviously will outlast all other super cars.

Has to be my favorite car. I have always liked it but it was one of the first cars I became interested infrom there I learned about many many other cars that I like very very much but have finally worked my way back to this one and it's just what I enjoy

I really enjoy watching Doug DeMuro reviews but I find myself always going back to the Lexus LFA video. The sound of the LFA is just magical. It takes a lot to impress Doug and you can tell that he just loves the sound of this car.

personally I think these are collectors vehicles. the price and exclusivity with limited numbers mean not many people would be hyped about it. only those who were ready for the delivery and had the 400k bones to drop on it.

I know next to nothing about cars. I was cooking with my back to my laptop while watching this video. Without Doug saying anything about the sound of this car, I heard the exhaust note and it made my head whip around instantly.
