Americans already discussing that it lacks power and how they will tune a v8 coyote to be faster that this because for some reason racing trucks and 0-60 matters to a lot of people! You never disappoint guys.
I'm interested in the real world use of the truck. What could the perfect job be for this truck. Who do you think would use that short range (definitely not towing on a daily basis with this thing) along with the power outputs or the trunk + bed? A gas f150 is versatile and this lightning seems too but with the drawback of the range which you may be able to charge around but never fast enough conveniently

I'm not surprised that so many of its buyers are non-truck owners. While the bed was very useful and practical for many things a lack of a trunk wasn't, this has both and that's a game changer for many people. I can also see this truck becoming very popular as a workhorse for business, extended storage + a huge battery to charge and use tools will save a lot of money and time in certain situations. All that for a good price to boot.

Come on Ford, tell us the real world range, family of four, luggage front and rear, full A/C, towing a small trailer. 320 miles becomes 150 at best
Question by a logical person I use the truck to power a house with no electricity, once I ve finished supplying power to the house which has drained the batteries, how the heck do I charge the truck in order to leave?

You don't need a separate device to power your house. All you need to do is shut your Main breaker from the street and back feed from that 240 outlet into the 240v outlet you use to charge with. Same as you would do with a generator if the power went out. So all you need is a custom wire from home depot not a 6k system from SunRun

A great first effort by Ford to make an electric pickup. Competent design, the front storage area is incredibly convenient and practical. People are going to get very frustrated that they can't get one due to the chip shortage, and the fact that this has a lot of battery inside, which is also supply constrained.

So you pay an outrageous amount for an electric car the maintenance and low fuel cost intially saves you money yet the price for a battery replacement in 3 years will take care of that.
We are in nowhere near ready technology or infrastructure wise to implement electric vehicles practically.

My question for electric vehicles is how can we make it practical for people who don t have a garage to direct a charge point for their vehicles. A lot of people live in apartments where they don t have a place to attach a charging cable for their electric car

Majority of the orders are around 75k Am I the only one with sticker shock on this? Its an F150 chassis (all new yeah right) with an electric motor and battery. Make vehicle financing illegal and watch car prices drop

If I were in the market, this would be the one. (Or maybe the new Hummer) The coolest thing about this isn't even the truck. it's the way it can act as a back-up battery for your HOUSE! That's SO COOL!
