The Cuda Is an Armored Land Cruiser For the Apocalypse

Cuda armored vehicle review! Today I'm reviewing the Cuda armored vehicle, which is essentially a 70-Series Toyota Land Cruiser designed for the apocalypse. The Cuda armored vehicle is very interesting and unusual, and I'm reviewing it all -- and I'll show you all of its quirks and features. I'm also driving the Cuda and I'll show you what it's like behind the wheel. Johnson: I see a lot of ways to get stuck in your CUDA. The hinges should be internal, there should be multiple air intakes and radiators in different locations and there should be a full armored panel underneath that covers the axels and drive line. Just my opinion. Nice rig though.

I was a gunner in Afghanistan for 9 months. I was a CROWS gunner (MRAP) for the last half. I was in ASVs also and I drove them both too. I am all too familiar with these types of vehicles. The doors are air controlled on the rear of MRAPS and once you push that button you need to be clear of the door motion. You can operate them manually too but they are heavy. We would drift MRAPS through the deepest mud, accelerating sideways through the ruts and you couldn t stop them. Off-roading in an ASV is actually even better. We would stagger them, CROWS MRAP out front, ASV, then MRAP then ASV. 11B

Few things that bother me greatly.
Why are the lights operated by remote control? If the batteries in those remotes go dead those are useless. Why is there no wired control?
Locks seem to be fairly weak, easily bypassed.
External hinges and window frames with common used bolts, easily dissasembled.
Cheap chinese camera's mounted as backup cameras.
I get that the point is to protect the occupants, but a little better design wouldn't be a bad idea.

so this is what a properly armoured armoured car looks like, good to have the comparison between this and the last armoured car that doug reviewed that looked like it was built by teenagers in a workshop somewhere out in the backwoods, the USSV rhino

Anyone else concerned that the doors could be zipped off in probably around 30 seconds via hinge removal with a cordless impact and a 15 mill deep socket? Maybe they are just covers over top the actual fastener?

Laugh now, but I can see an up tick in vehicles like this. This Crazy-Crazy country where nutz & extremists go un-checked. If you have the coin & care about your family, why not.

Just as I'm thinking there's no need for him to get on his knees to talk about this one.
Doug, the type of guy to still get on his knees to discuss a 7 foot tall truck.

I love how it is armored, yet leaves all screws open to outside. You manage to stop this vehicle and cannot get inside? easy, just unscrew the windows from outside.

LOL 6: 18 When a normal car door closes and there's a little gap with the body. Thoughts in my mind of a tube of toothpaste in the door gap of a Maserati Ghibli.

I m curious if there were any suspension upgrades that had to be done because if all the added weight. Did you ask them about that Doug?
