Sure, it's rare and tuned for better performance, but just ever so slightly.
If I wanted to have an even better Corola GR that badly, I'd probably rather just rip out all of the things in the rear, install a cage and give it better software.
Of course, this may be aimed towards the people that don't want to be bothered doing that but idk.

Rarely do i ever have anyone in my backseat but that doesn t mean i don t want to put my back windows down. If they really wanted to save weight i feel this should be a 2 door. I get that only making 200 it wouldn t make much sense financially to design a new frame but i still think this would be much better as a 2 door.

This is by far the dumbest thing I've ever seen in a car. A four door car with no rear seats, WOW! I really feel Toyota is desperate and just keep rolling random things out even though they are the richest car company in the world. Even two door sports cars have ever seats for crying out loud!

i appreciate what it is and will probably be awesome to drive but i absolutely hate the look of it with a passion, never been a fan of the corolla and would much rather the yaris as its a coupe and can see it being a better driver all round. good video as always though, doug!

Crazy how Toyota was considered a boring commuter company in last decade up until they came out with the GR Supra. then little by little they're showing the automotive industry that their performance cars should be taken very seriously.

For those complaining about the four doors, it would take Toyota a whole new chassis to redesign the B pillar. For example the GR Yaris only have the front chassis shared with Yaris, that is how they can have a two door design

300BHP from a 1. 6 3cyl, wow. I remember when i was a teenager and the Escort RS Turbo came out with its 1. 6 Turbo making 135bhp and that was the car to die for in the late 80's. Mad how engine technology is progressing.

If they're gonna ditch the back seats (and presumably the rear window motors, why not just put flat door panels on with a fabric loop/cord to open the doors from the inside? The F40 did it on its only doors, so why not
