Here\'s Why Mechanics Don\'t Want You to Buy This Car nvamember: I dont care what manufacturer you talk about. If the car is not made in the good ol USA then they can keep it. Hay Scotty talk to the American worker and tell them that we need the jobs to stay here and not go outside. Ask them to put their hearts into it. You know knocking the made in the USA is not something that should be made and support is needed so people keep their jobs.

This is why I do not get a brand-new vehicle, whether if it is re-designed for the next generation or it is still outdated on the current generation. I always stick to older vehicles, as soon as I can, instead of buying newer vehicles. The best older car in North America, that I know of is the 2012 Ford Fusion Sport AWD sedan with the 3. 5 L V6 engine, which produces 263 horsepower and it has the six-speed Aisin automatic transmission with sport mode. It has about over eighty horsepower more than the 2012 Toyota Camry SE sedan with the 2. 5 L four-cylinder engine, which produces 179 horsepower and Toyota's six-speed automatic transmission with sport and manual-shift capability. They are the best sedans and the best model years in the market, ranging between 2003 and 2018.

Have same car 130k. Have had no issues at all, it's quit amazing. Bought with 30k, really didn't want to buy it because the seats are so uncomfortable, it rides hard, and doesn't steer that well either. However i wanted to try a Toyota to save money and see if they are truly reliable. Yes, they are certainly reliable. Cost of ownership is nothing. And i like that. But it's not a fun car to drive at all. Although has lots of front and rear leg room for tall people.

the 8 speed gearbox is made by aisin and it use too by bmw x1, and many others, the problem in toyota is on software setting not on gearbox itself, on bmw the gearbox is smooth as silk and fast, clearly toyota always awkward when programming their auto gearbox, the older auto toyota always too late change timing to change gear, now they too early change gear so feels like hunting gears n unnecessary change gear up when it on low speed

2014 Camry SE, 60, 000 miles. The six speed tranny paired with the four cylinder engine is a great combo. It drives nice. My Taco is the third gen which has the six speed tranny and it feels like it's always a gear too high, I guess that's a gearing issue tho. When we drive strictly on the freeway we get 32mpg, city driving is 22mpg, for the Camry that is. But we do live in a very mountainous area so that affects our mileage.

I own the 2012 Camery, I do enjoy it as an economy car. I also noticed that a I am losing about 20% in mileage since my last oil change and don't know why? I used to get about 100 mile a quarter tank but now am getting about 70 miles and my driving has not changed. The car has less then 40, 000 miles, I am the second owner I do miss driving a stick tho as that was more fun then an automatic.

So do you have and opinion on a 2009 Lexus lx570? CA car. 2 owners. 130k miles. Looking for all purpose daily driver. Travel, some rutted poorly maintained forest roads for weeklong isolated camping, Some Sierra severe winter skiing, Other alternative is 4x4 F150 XLT or Tundra with 60 -80k for about same price. Used about 8k miles per year. Thanks.

If Toyota made these in a wagon version, I'd buy TWO of them. No one makes a proper, plain ole wagon with acres of rear visibility and five door access. Tailgate parties are OK but wagon gate parties blow them out of the water. The overhead door keeps the rain and/or the sun off your delicate body.

Blesd you Scotty. I'm looking at a 2008 Toyota Camry LE has a 5 speed auto trans with only 72k miles. I checked the black auction book the spread is wide. But I'm more intetested in whether or not the that model year has issues I don't know about and you do. Can you shed some light for me?

My 2015 Camry SE is on transmission number 2, the entune stereo, yup number 2, and the list continues, I won't buy another Toyota. especially considering my 2018 VW is more reliable as is my Mercury grand marquis and i wish i could get my 02 sienna with 389k miles back, it was WAY more reliable.
