Here\'s Why Ford is Better than Dodge, Chevy, and Toyota Mike Vance: Scotty, I recently test drove the 2019 Ford F150. I test drove both the V8 model as well as the V-6 turbo. Both vehicles have a 10 speed automatic transmission and it felt like it was hunting for gears. It felt like the transmission was jerky. It was just a crappy drive. I asked the salesman and the service manager what the deal was with the transmission shifts and I was told thats normal for the new 10 speed transmission I dont buy it I didnt like it Im not spending 40 some thousand dollars for that type of ride quality I was very disappointed because I really wanted A Ford F-150 Thoughts?

On the point about the camaro and mustang. Comparing the interior quality in the mustang vs the camaro is a no-brainer. I work for ford and if a mustang comes in we work on it. Mustangs aren't that great of vehicles they are fun i bet but nothing like if a Ford GT came in. Anyway the quality is decent. Not really impressionable because of the amount of plastic. But I drove a Camaro although a 2013 it just felt cheap. Like really cheap, and comparing to the 2013 mustang which I wasn't a fan of the interior especially because they kept it the same compared to the 05'-09' with minor differences.

I have an argument with my Boss( service adviser) at least once a week. He says (Fx4) is pronounced eff ex 4 and I argue it's pronounced eff by 4 like how 4x4 is 4 by 4. Fx4 is technically 4x4 just Ford's way of a higher trimmed package. So with Scotty saying eff ex 4 is making me believe that's the standard pronunciation. I work on Ford's so this conversation comes up quite often lol. I guess it's similar to Caramel pronouncing it (Car mul) or Cara mel)

Scotty please, now you want to be famous but no mechanic. Some people like these pickup trucks, the 5. 4LV8 is a piece of crap, if yours has 200, 000 miles plus congratulations, youre getting closer to pains in the butt. I work in a repair shop and noup, never buying a Ford vehicle, Ive seen a lot problems already.

I have a 2004 Ford F150 Heritage with a 4. 2 v6 made in Canada with 190000 miles on it. So far it runs good. Valve covers have a slight leak and it is much better than the 2003 Ford Focus that I had. Rather own Canadian made than Mexican made that's for sure.

Sorry Scotty, but you probably arent aware - these new 10 speeds are so bad on the new F150s. Ruined two trucks, one owned by my friends father and by his distant cousin. I would usually agree w ya but I cant on this video, old Fords were better

I had a 2013 Ford Mustang and I adored it. Sold it it help pay for some medical bills. Miss it everyday one of the best vehicles Ive owned. Now I drive a 2015 Chevy pickup which is a very nice vehicle but I wish I had went with a ford truck instead.

Hey Scotty Kilmer I want a plow truck and am considering a Ford F-250 gasser. What do you think about the reliability of that vehicle. Im favorable to foreign vehicles but they dont make great platforms for plowing. Thoughts?

I had a 88 Ford Ranger bought brand new and put in 570, 000 miles all originals. All I did is change the oil every 3, 000 miles, tire rotations and replace the battery. Had to sell it when I moved to Vegas because it didnt have A/C.
