I have never heard that Hummer is returning for the 2020 or 2021 model year, but it is only electric vehicles. The Mazda MPV minivan should also return for the 2021 model year and use the 2. 5 L four-cylinder Skyactiv turbocharged engine, which is currently used in the newer CX-9 and have an eight-passenger seating configuration as standard and the seven-passenger seating configuration optional. The all-new, MPV should be a larger minivan with a longer wheelbase, similar to the Honda Odyssey and the Toyota Sienna. The horsepower rating for the MPV should be ranging from 300 to 325 horsepower and have an eight-speed automatic transmission with sport (manual-shift) mode and paddle shifters, behind the steering wheel. Finally, the all-new, 2021 Mazda MPV should have a floor shifter with electronic parking brake, similar to these newer Mazda's with Skyactiv technology.

Hi Scotty, big fan of your videos. I'm currently driving a 2002 Volvo S40 with the non-turbocharged i4 1. 8 Volvo engine (not the Mitsubishi direct injection one) and the 5 speed automatic. It has only 36. 000 miles (bought it at 32k) and everything is like new (the exterior and interior are spotless - it's like the car came here with a time machine. The car drives great even though it is 17 years old. What are some things I should watch out for and do to enjoy the car for a long time? The only problem I've had so far was the plastic cover for the steering column cracking, but that was an easy and cheap fix. It is my current daily driver and my commute is around 20 miles back and forth.

As for the Hummer the tech is def there. I work for Ford building the vehicles. With all we are doing and behind in tech. There are zero doubts an electric hummer is easily capable. The hummer brand went away simply due to fuel and GM poor engineering. When it comes to recalls the company Nissan wont foot the bill. Its due to manufacturing for the recall. The company responsible will pay for the recalls and pay Nissan for the bad press. Car companies dont lose money. Due to all cars that are made are already sold. The money has already been made.

. cfsome interesting concepts could be explored with an electric Hummer. Perhaps the reliability issues due to the drivetrain and associated components would be brushed away. Also cheaper better batteries are about to be available in next one or two years and supertuff graphene plastics. Going electric would counter all the established gas guzzler negative vibes. The concept of electric vehicles as contributing to backup storage for the electrical grid when plugged in is also close to being implemented.

A Hummer slightly larger than an H3, lighter, with a 3 liter I6 duramax or a new 5. 3 ecotec, even a 3. 6 ecotec would probably do pretty good in sales these days. The newer jeeps have taken ideas from Hummer and also stepped up designing interior & exterior wise because of it. GM could easily make a stronger and more efficient version of the jeep. The only thing they shoukd do is make the new hummer more off road worthy and have a better interior than jeep just like the old days.

You mentioned cheap parts. My Avalon oem radiator was replaced two weeks ago, after 14 years. When I read the big box auto parts store reviews on the various non oem radiators, the warranties were extremely limited and the reviews did not give high marks. A replacement OEM unit cost me 40 more than the highest price aftermarket unit with a short warranty. My oem front brake pads lasted 65, 000 miles. Aftermarket ones then lasted 53, 000 miles. In went oem pads this morning.

I remember seeing an interview were a guy (I forget who) said they shouldve done Hummer as a sub model line for GMC. Because when they put Hummer out, they really didnt want to. And if you could buy a Hummer that was really a GMC, They couldve built them at a lower volume without hurting sales and production. Or something. He explained it better. Still, the guy felt that if they did that, theyd likely still be churning out H2s and H3s.

Are Landys worth owning? Series I - yesSeries Ii - yes101 forward control - yes, go anywhere through anything weekenderSeries III - possibly, if youre going to use it to tow and its done less than 48kRange Rover, Evoque or any other - should be scrapped as they roll off the production line. If its a series III, dont buy them with one or more of the common faults: clutch, adjustable suspension, being a Landy.

My reaction: WTH Gm, instead of that why don't you put that money into building better vehicles. (Quality ) Try to keep your current customers happy. I leased a freaking '17 Colorado and it feels cheap. Plastic and cheap, with crappy components like a bad transmission. GM build better vehicles and stop screwing over your customers. HIre Scotty for consultation, and start making better decisions.
