Dad was getting ready to buy a super snake brand new a couple years ago but I urged him to buy the zl1 camaro because theyre a WHOLE LOT cheaper to build and they will initially take more abuse with less maintenance. He ended up buying a 2015 and dumping about 2-3, 000 in the motor alone bumping it up from 500 to the wheel to an easy 800 horses and anywhere from 900-1, 000 on nitrous. Lemme tell you that car is the gift that just keeps giving. Its took more abuse from me and my father than you can explain, we actually got to a point to see who could blow her up first but hell it wont budge lol. Idk what it is about Scotty and GM but anyone who hates on the LS platform as a whole is idiotic. Its funny how one year the officials for drag week were joking about how 99. 9% of the mustangs at drag week had Chevy motors and the one that didnt was mopar powered. My ole lady actually had a 2013 mustang when we first started dating, dropped a valve at 80, 000 miles lol. Just like the old saying goes, ford sells more because every 2-3 years you have to buy a new one and junk the old one.

I drive a Mazdas now, but I've owned two 5. 0 Mustangs, and an '89 Chevy Sport truck. If I want another American vehicle, I want one that sticks to what they know best. The biggest, nastiest V8, with a manual transmission. I can roll up my own windows. I don't need to surf the net while I drive. I just want something that goes fast, and makes a lot of noise. Until they can give me that, at a reasonable price, I'll stick to Mazda.

HELP SCOTTY Just bought the kid a 08 Lexus is250 ran great but then it cranked but wouldn't start, then check VSC came up with no crank at all. Tried changing the cheap easy thing by changing the gas cap, I saw there was a recall on the fuel pressure sensor but the dealer replaced that back in 2015. So what else could it be? Thanks Scotty

Good thing Scotty warned me about this. I was about to pull the trigger on that Maserati GranTurismo I had my eye on for so long but thanks to Scotty's sound advice, I instead opted for 1998 Honda Civic Hatchback with manual transmission and only a 190, 000 mostly highway miles. Thanks Scotty Crisis Averted.

I've been telling friends this for years but do they listen. of course not and then they wonder why I have a big house, get to travel, and have gotten to a point where I just allow my investments to pay me. and yes the most expensive luxury car I drive is a Lexus. still laughing all the way to the bank.

3 Best Sports Cars Only Smart People Buy. # 1 - 1994 Toyota Celica 1. 8 - 4 banger. # 2 - Toyota Celica GT4 Turbo. # 3 - 1993 to 1998 Toyota Supra. I swear I am going to paint my 94 Celica silver to pay homage to Scotty and place an AirBourne sticker on the door post.

Trouble with this one is, Scotty doesn't seem to know what a sports car is. Scotty, just because a car has good acceleration, does not mean it's a sports car. A model S is not a sports car, nor is a Camaro, really. Sports cars are light, nimble. Those cars are neither.
