Are Cheap Used Pickup Trucks Worth Buying? Let\'s Find Out Zack: I bought a 1986 Mercury Grand Marquis with the 5. 0l 302 windsor v8 engine the car ran great when I bought it but I parked it and it wouldn't start again so I replaced the fuel pressure regulator, the fuel pump, and the fuel filter and got the car running again but now when the car fires up it immediately revs the engine up really high and I'm forced to kill the engine to not damage it. When its revving the butterfly door on the throttle body remains closed unless you push the gas pedal so I'm thinking it's a vacuum leak or the throttle position sensor or something like that. If you have any ideas please let me know its greatly appreciated

Here in Tunisia Isuzu are equiped with diesel engine 4 Cylinders 2. 5 liter and they run for ever. Believe in one isuzu at the company that I worked for it has 1. 120. 000 km yes yes more than one million with the original engine and transmission, manual transmission Here we say a car is reliable like isuzuMany Isuzu transport about 2. 5 Tonnes everyday even though that the factory mention that they should not exceed 1. 2 Tonnes as max transported weightThey are so popular at the point that we have in Tunisia a factory of assembling isuzu that it has never satisfied the demand we have to wait for about 6 months to buy one, and people import them from SAUDI ARABIA it is better than waitibg for 6 months or more.

I can almost guarantee that thing is a better buy than my 700 f150. Aside from the aluminum hood there's not one section without major rust, at 159k this thing wasn't cared for one bit but I was in a bind due to emissions & needed something quick or face massive fines even though it passed the sniffer. That's the problem with obd 1 & 2 vehicles, in my state you'll fail with even one code although the actual emissions ouput is well within spec.

Scotty I need some help because my car is too unique. I have a 1994 Toyota Previa with almost 210, 000 miles and sometimes the power locks glitch with the driver's side door probably because it was ran into. And so my trunk sometimes opens and sometimes acts like it is locked and the key socket it firm stuck and I don't know if the latch is loose or damaged or if it is something else. Also the hydraulics on the trunk don't work either.

Scotty, just bought a 2009 Ford Ranger 2. 3l, all that is supposedly wrong with it is the transmission clunks shifting into 4th gear. Not sure how many miles it has because I need to get a key made through a locksmith for 280. Also I work at a mechanic shop so I am not worried about anything wrong with it. My question is do you think I made a good buy if all that is wrong with it is the transmission?

Man, I forgot about those old Chevy Luv trucks LOL. By the way the ABS modules in those S-10s are super easy to fix. Have one of those in my 03 Blazer. Just crappy soldering on the control board. Worst quality control ever and Chevy refused to do a recall or complimentary fix. Fixed mine recently in about an hour. A little re-soldering and good as new.

Here's a little fun fact for you: Besides the Isuzu badge pickup truck Scotty is talking about in his video the Chevy S10 is also the truck inside the old funny little post office trucks. AKA The Iron Duke post office truckAka the post office long life vehicleUnderneath the Grumman body is a Chevy S10 motor and drivetrain

I had a 79 long bed LUV truck and put a V6 Buick engine and 3 speed auto with overdrive and a/c. Only problem was I was wearing out u-joints because of the extra up but once a year wasn't too bad for. The fun I had with it. Not much in the curves but it was fast in a straight line, ahh misspent youth.

Quick Question Scotty My 2011 nissan rogue SV AWD was assembled in Japan, what impact will that have on my vehicle? Im 26 and I'm clueless when it comes to cars, I was told having it built in Japan is better than having it built elsewhere but Id like a second opinion.

You Can Buy It for 1, 000Best case scenario. I have looked for the lesser known mazda mini trucks. They are not easy to find in good shape for 1, 000. The isuzu trucks I have never even seen one for sale. Very rare and from what I have heard not as good as the Mazdas.
