I bought an e46 with low miles and this is the problems i have. - Massive oil consumption-burning oil - Transmission cover, bushing cable deterioration- Side mirror motor- Rear brake light baskets cracking- Electric seats burning smoke - Exterior Plastic trim falling off- Radiator leak - Brake lights not working and falling off- signal light not working - head light falling offThis isnt even including preventative maintenance which is important so my car doesnt die once i already fix the heavy oil consumption. In 4 days i spent hundreds of dollars on oil and gas.

Have a manual sport package E90 330i with 103k that is as reliable as the Japanese cars Ive owned. They key to owning these car is doing the preventive maintenance and doing it yourself. If you dont know how to wrench stay away from these cars because you will on YouTube complaining how the car broke you. Put it this way cost me less to own this car than people I know who own Camrys. Plus I dont baby my car. Drive it like the ultimate driving machine every day.

Blah blah blah so much crap about maintenance I had a 2011 328i, put 122K miles on it. No issues at all for 8 straight years. Why? Because I take care of my car. I do all recommended maintenance. Yes it cost a little more to maintain after the warranty, thats what a job is for If you cant afford the maintenance on a BMW then you shouldnt be driving one. My BMW made me broke, STFU, you were probably broke before the BMW.

Cant stand those comments about M pack, do yourself a favour and go to any BMW internet page and read what the DAMN M pack actually is. M pack is not exclusive to performance models like M3 or M5. M pack is a visual interior / exterior upgrades, it have nothing to do with performance and can be bought and customized with ANY BMW. This show exactly how much u guys do know about BMW but yet u keep hatting them.

Being the owner of a bmw, the only good thing about this vehicle is the styling, and im not hating or trolling this is from my own personal experience plus other owners Ive talked to, this is my honest opinion, mechanically its not reliable plus tons of electrical and cooling issues, make a long story short, if you wanna drive a bmw, better have some deep pockets.

I should of went into this contest with my 335i and done a bunch of highway pulls and exhaust. Maybe next time. Lol. Twin turbo inline 6 is so much better. Xhp and mhd and fuel it, tons of coding, taken whole thing apart for multiple different repairs along the road. Cowl delete with custom filters removes that maintenance issue

Whats with all the haters? The owner is not uninformed - he understands the issues with BMWs and he obviously works on it himself. Its shape is wonderful, the interior is luxurious (I like the wood better myself, but most importantly - he loves his car Come on people, not everyone wants to drive a Toyota. Live a little: )

Never could understand why you young guys love 4 door BMWs They ALL look like taxi cabs And besides, how many times do you EVER have anyone in the back seat? Ill bet hardly ever THEN, you spend all sort of money on upgrades to a 4-door car If you want something thats REALLY beautiful to look at, stick to 2 doors

When I had a 328i I modded it. I didnt put M Colors or M anything. It was BMW performance that I repped. I dipped my 328i badges black and flaunted it. I even kept the double single side exit exhaust and showed that off. Nothing of this car was touched by M. Be proud of what you got or work for what you want.
