No. We have a 2008 MDX for 6 years. With the electronic suspension the front struts are over 800 in the rear struts are over 600. Replace the front struts they didnt last a year and a half. Finally went to aftermarket. Ive replaced everything in the front and accept the steering column in the steering wheel but my mechanic used lifetime Napa parts so now I dont have to worry about that. I had to disconnect the Bluetooth that was draining the battery. The alternator wasnt working for years but tested okay and I burnt your batteries until finally it failed at the worst possible time. Yes its a sweet car Yes its great in the snow Yes it has great features Yes it rides nice and yes its quick. It has never stranded us on my wife and I love it however we will never be buying one again. Next vehicle for us at Toyota Sequoia.

Scotty I enjoyed that Acura MDX video because I myself on a 2011 all wheel drive advantage packageMDX myself. I bought it last June I had a Lexus dealer with 118, 000 miles. I was able to trade in my 2012 Chevy equinox for 10 grand in my balance for this coat was just 3000 since they were selling it for 1300 I have had no problems with it it has been a charm but because of the all wheel drive I am spending more on gasoline. I do have a questionAbout pulling dents from the vehicle I was going up my driveway and did not realize how close to the tree on the side of my driveway was. I ended up pushing up against it and creating a dent that I feel can be pulled out and play and have the proper Suction tool to do so. Do you have any suggestions on what I can use to do that with?

Sorry to break your bubble but Investing 15, 000 in a nearly 20 year old Acura All Wheel Drive with over a 100k miles on it could easily put you in the poor house. At 100k miles that vehicle is going to have needs. Automatic Transmission, Brake disc rotors, dry rotted flexible brake whip lines, catalytic / exhaust, radiator, water pump, fuel pump, battery and lots of sensors. At 7, 500 it would make more sense. At 15k you can get yourself a brand NEW econo box that gets 30 mpg and comes with a 5 year warranty. Scotty would probably tell you to keep it and drive it into the ground.

Good grief Its so pointless to cover the license plate- there is absolutely nothing to be feared from having your license plate shown- nothing. Thats why you can show the plate to thousands of people everyday (some of whom personally Hate you) with ZERO repercussions- its just a sheep fadSMFH such a mindless move. I have asked HUNDREDS of no-minds why they cover their plate- EVERY one said because I saw other people doing it. not one of them had a good reason for it. Any reason you can dream up is fantastically far fetched paranoia LOL

I owned a 2004 Acura MDX that was purchased used at 33K and we finally unloaded it around 114, 000 after another 1K plus repair. The extended warranty paid for itself with repairs needed over the life of the SUV. I did the 90k maintenance package and the timing belt and with everything that needed to be replaced the final bill was over 1700. 00. We traded it in on a new 2015 Toyota RAV4. 4 years and 60K, not a single issue with the Toyota. Acura Anything. never again

My wife has the same exact MDX. She loves it. The only issues we have had with it was an alignment issue with adjustable rear camber control arms, power steering pump and alternator. The rest was just typical wear items, brakes and good tires. 110, 000 miles just like the one in the video. It rides great, ample power and acceleration. The body style is still the best looking MDX out there, they keep getting uglier as the years go by. This is a great car.

Again, I gotta agree with Scotty, being a dealer who regularly sells both MDX and X5 and comparable SUV I gotta tell you that the MDX is THE best overall SUV in the market and X5 is a hit and miss type. X5 handling is great no doubt but it can surprise you with costly breakdowns. If you wanna play safe and still have fun and good looks, go with the MDX. And yes if you dont need a big engine/ 7 seater then the smaller sibling the RDX will do the job.

I have a 2008 MDX with 144K miles at this time. It has been reliable as it can be. However, not ALL is perfect. There are some parts where Honda cut some corners, specifically on the seats covers. My MDX, as many others, the driver seat sides are getting torn off, the main real engine seal has failed, the Bluetooth module needed to be replaced. But, overall, it is a great car.

Have you had the timing belt replaced yet? They recommend that at about 100K and its fairly expensive. High cost of Acura ownership, but well worth it. I own a 2012 MDX with 102K. Next service going to cost me 1500. Also they have a issued new recall out for possible rings failure oil consumption on some 2011-13s. Not good. Mine seems to not be one of them so far.
