Wow it feels weird to see my car in the video. I got the 2009 V6 AWD with the same color inside out. Got 158k on it, good to know it'll last another 150k. Just got new struts recently. I have to agree with Scotty, I could never get estimated MPG (18 city, 25 highway) in real world use, I average 19-20 MPG combined. The only other thing I don't like about it is the handling, steering is too light and vague for my liking, and it leans a lot in corners. But I can defintely see how this car is perfect for people who don't care about driving dynamics, want a good reliable everyday driver with tons of interior space and AWD option. Also the reason Toyota stopped making the Venza is because it was cannibalizing Rav4 and Highlander sales, and low sales in general, since everyone buys SUVs these days (I consider Venza as a crossover/wagon, competing with Outback and Crosstour. Hopefully the new Venza will stay for the long run.

I have a question for u I have a 1986 ford bronco xlt 4x4 5. 0 after I start my truck and it is warm it will start to stutter and rpm will drop to 0 and die out in the city if im on a highway i can drive forever no problem but when I get off of the highway the first stop it will start to stutter and rpm drop to 0 and die even if I'm giving it. Gas it will still die i have changed alot of parts pickup coil also idk what to do anymore any help is great and thank u for your videos

Scotty, ever since I started watching your videos (started 2 months ago while researching new SUVs) i am afraid to buy any cars not made by Toyota, and made after 2004. So now, you have convinced me to fix my 2004 Toyota Sienna. The automatic sliding door jams up. The radio antenna was snapped off by my boys tossing a football too close to the car, and the radio changes stations on its own. The AC is not very cold either. Any advice on how to fix all this?

Scotty you're the best. I drove the Venza years back. I thought it looked alright but after driving it I wasn't impressed. the suspension wasn't up tp par. as I thought to should be the car felt empty tp me. '''I've been a Lexus&Toyota buyer for myself and my wife for a long time. I bought a newly designed Hylander instead. it was a little more expensive but a much better car. at least to me

Never heard of them? Now I'll be keeping my eyes open for them. My van and truck are both 99s and the van with a V-6 gets 21mpg. Olds made a good one back then! The head casting on the V-6 was designed a bit too narrow on the back but that was the only problem I found in 20 years.
OH, my Ford F-250, 14mpg. Not the worst I have ever seen.

It's still a marketing problem. It's smaller than a highlander but in line with the Rav4 but costs much more. It's nice but for how much a fully loaded one goes for, it just doesn't seem worth it. The touch capacitive buttons on the new ones is also retarded. Won't be surprised if the new one turns into a huge marketing failure again.

It's not an SUV. It's a crossover. Basically a lifted Camry. That's why there's no 3rd row. Camry isn't long enough, and Toyota didn't extend the frame for the Venza.
Besides, the Venza failed because it was competing with Highlander, 4 Runner and Rav 4. Now that Toyota is ditching sedans, there's a market for the Venza again.

Scotty. if Toyotas and Hondas are so reliable, why do they only give a 3 year 36, 000 mile warranty when Hyundai and Kia give a 50, 000 5 year bumper to bumper and a 10 year, 100, 000 mile powertrain warranty? If they don't break, there is no cost. it would be all upside. The marketing alone would sell tons more cars
