Here\'s Why the Ford F-150 is My Favorite Truck and Better Than Toyota Mai: The few times I met people with F150s, they all seem to have problems with their automatic transmission slipping.
I've never wanted a pickup truck after the age of 7, and if you wanna be asked constantly by friends and relatives to help them move this or that, buy a pickup truck.
Then again, who am I to stand between you and such happiness?

Hey Scotty, I am a Historian and a life long Ford pickup enthusiast. I just wanted to point out a couple of tweaks in this video. At 6: 13 you were discussing the 7th generation F-150, but displayed a picture of a 9th generation F-150 truck. Not only that, but the 9th generation F-150 was actually produced from 1992 - 1996, but the F-250 and 350 of that generation were produced until 1997. The 10th generation F-150 actually started in 1997 with an overall of the typical square body design. While the F-250's and 350's were skipped a year in production, and were not seen again until 1999 with the new Superduty as they are tagged. Except there were a few rare F-250's made in 1998 that had the body of a 10th generation F-150. Another thing, at 8: 05 you referred to that truck as a supercab, when it was actually a crew cab truck. The crewcabs have the full 4 doors on a truck, while the supercabs are also known as the extended cab with suicide doors. Other than that, great video as always Scotty!

I have a 7th generation. 1983 F150 4x4. Compared to a 60, 000 dollar truck, it is lacking in the comfort and ride. But I can tow my boat and drive around on forestry roads all day long. I can still do some of the mechanical stuff too. I have been looking at the new Godzilla trucks. I like the idea of an automatic now that my knee is wearing out. I bought that truck about 15 years ago for 500 bucks, and have put about 15, 000 into it now. I was once told, Every man should own a truck. It seems like it's getting harder for now days to have a garage or a place to park an extra vehicle or two. I predict that in another decade or two, city people wont be able to wipe their own asses. They will design toilets that do it for them. Maybe that's a good thing.

I hate these obnoxious truck drivers with their high beams on showing off their perfectly shiny paint job while speeding over 60mph on a 45 lane with nothing on the truck bed. Seriously, why get a truck just to show off, why not just get an Acura or a lambo instead if you got a small penis? The more trucks in the road the more dangerous it get for everyone. The one that's safe is the jerk speeding on a truck after he hit and run a biker

Scotty - what the heck! Why do little Courier trucks from the 70s keep showin up while you re talking about the 40s-50s? And why did they show a highly patina d Toyota P-up when you were talking about car models that became light-duty truck stand-ins? You know as well as I do that, pound for pound, no other truck out-works or out-lasts a Toyota with a 22R! Ya gotta keep it real baby! ; )

You got the picture for the 80-86 range wrong, but it's still a great history.
I love my Ford's. Bronco, Ranger, F-150 x2 and an F-350. And they have all been put to the test and used as intended and as not intended.
Keep up the good work Scotty

I have a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup truck and love it very much especially since it has the 5. 0 Liter V-8 engine and it is my favorite vehicle of the three I have. Ford has been the leader for so many years and is still the best in performance and horses.

85% uses the F150 as a normal car. The car made specifically to avoid emission restrictions. To many Europeans this sounds grotesk and stereotypes Americans as earth s number one polluters, but I suppose you are okay with that aren t you?
