I read the title as -So long Surfliners- at first. I thought the Surfliners were going away!
I like the catches of a P42 at one end and an SC44 at the other. I just saw the missouri River runner with a B23-8WH at the other end a few days ago (may 2019!
0: 50 nice catch of the entire train in Surfliner colors!
2: 30 The old F59PHI at one end and the new SC44 at the other!
3: 17 I like that catch where the last three cars are in Amtrak California colors, with a matching Dash 8!
3: 47 nice catch of three private cars on a horizon set! The horn on that F59PHI is unsual!
5: 02 that's a lot of private cars!
7: 44 nice catch of a prive car in front of the rear loco!

having been to Europe and Japan, but grown up on those beaches and ridden the Coast Starlight more than any other train. man I wish this thing could be managed better and unleashed from auto industry manipulation.

Siemens built the Charger locomotives without the ability to power brake so the train cannot be kept stretched to eliminate slack action. This is what you get when government runs things. Signed Government hater.

Look at it this way: Not everybody likes it when Surfliners are this long, and you know why? Because they want to hear some Surfliner Cab Car horn!

My mind of those train like those call a train mobile with weapons and completely unstoppable that no one can't stop them but thay can you and so as the other vehicles and robots -

0: 40 I can't believe you saw a 9 car Surfliner with entirely Surfliner coaches. They almost always use at least 1 Superliner coach on those trains.
