I can't see how they could monitor and enforce it in such a large scale. yes there is software that can detect certain sounds, music and video. but how far would they push this? E. g there is a movie poster in the background of someone's video, or filming outside in public and there is Burger King sign or advertisement for Jack Daniels on a billboard. or they filming out in a club. and the music playing in the background, would they immediately block the video being uploaded or shown as well? If we removed probably every video on youtube that had some form of copyright in it, whether intentionally or unintentionally. you'd probably only have 1-5% of video's remaining left on the site. The problem is most people in European Parliament don't live in the real world, they don't even live in the cyberworld, they live in a world of words, numbers and how much money can we make over the sacrifice of everyone else who has to suffer. VPN's will be the way to go, similar to people in China using them, to access blocked content outside China. If this happen's, but it will also mean that audiences will have to have VPN's active to see your content. so rather than you filmed in the UK and uploaded there. It will appear you have uploaded the content in the US or Canada instead. All this is going to do, is cause more problems and likely to end up having individuals gunning the lives of those who approve this Article 13.

testing if i've been bloked by youtube from writing comments I can only see them when i'm signed in on all video's that I comment on but they are not anywhere to found when i'm not signed inDisgusting I really hope we in the UK Get the F'#K out of the EU. If we have to vote again here is your Extra incentive to vote to leave the EU of corrupt bureaucratic over sea's dictatorship and i'm sorry to say to labor voters that means you must also vote Concervitive no matter how much you hate them or at least don't vote at all because jeremy corbyn will gladly hand the UK over to the EU and is also a terrorist sympothiser. This is truly terrifying. but you know what? Take our memes, take our freedom of speech, take our flippin' internet. people laugh at our generation, and put our generation down. sometimes for good reason, BUT, do this, and see what happens. We're a generation of biscuit hurt over everything, complaining, internet addicted, people. but we have our positives too. When things we love are threatened, when our rights are threatened, we stand together, and we STAND UP. You can take all you want, and then watch us take it back, if you're even able to take it to begin with. Our generation is the future. If this DOES happen, give it a couple years and we will rejoice in our memes once again. But seriously, this goes wayyy beyond memes. There's a much broader picture here. We won't allow for this.

I'm Just Saying, Big Creators like DanTDM and other Creators from the UK will be partially ok. This is because of Brexit. If you don't know what that is, search it up, It pretty much means that In a few months or years Uk will leave the EU so Uk people are okay. But then again the Article 13 and the Brexit don't have a 100% assurance that they will happen. The worst case scenario would be article 13 happening and Brexit not happening. Even if both of these take place, UK creators will still have a draw back, Article 13 can start from Jan 2019 while Brexit starts from April 2019 and the period can extend all the way to Dec 2020. If we don't act now Article 13 could shut down youtube, facebook, twitter, pinterest, blogger, reddit, tumblr, linkedin and many many more could be shut down. These websites will have no choice but to close for fear of getting sued or worse they will only allow big corporations to use them. Taking the internet away from the common voting man and woman. Use this link and tweet to all the UE officials who will vote on this and tell them not to vote. Power to the masses, lets fight back and save our beloved internet. t

Actually the main thing is that Youtube is not the Internet, so let's talk more extensively: TV, PC and Phones the main problem. So if they are removed, the next generations become smarter. You know, 5% of them on Youtube. These tools are officially a fruit knife for me, because if you use it well, you are doing useful things; Just like cutting fruits, abuse them, bad things like hurting them. Youtube is just one of the dangerous fish in the ocean.
