South African elections are today and the build but has been the most volatile for many years - tensions are running high with the ruling party failing terribly with essential services infrastructure - we have no water or electricity. The EFF are probably the most aggressive party ever on the ballot - inciting racial violence against the minority but they have a huge following. Then you have the DA who are probably the most liberal. They hold most of the same principals like BEE and land distribution, as the other party but in a less aggressive violent way but still have the majority and not equal rights. This is the most pivotal elections since the end of apartheid - the fear among all the people I know ( of ALL races ) is very real. I think a storyline this is FAR more important than a Jake Paul party PLEASE that is not even news. He is a waste of digital space - NO more airtime please

BOEING PLANES NEWS - Before this clip, I had to pause and prepare myself for getting this info. I am. ahem. not the best flier. lol. I cry a lot. But I had to tell myself I needed to know this info. Now, after learning, I'm not scared but empowered. I feel like I now know which planes are being worked on, and what to look into next time I take a flight. I know this isn't really an opinion; but I wanted to share my before/after experience. Just goes to show knowledge is power and truthful, informative, researched news is SO important

In the underage girls story, I don't know if I feel like 10 years is enough, but I'm honestly just excited that a judge didn't give him a slap on the wrist and move on. I'm happy that finally there is some real follow through in one of these cases, it seems so often in these types of cases I feel like the person who did it gets off with very little punishment.

While the organizers and all the people involved in doing that should be investigated and punished where appropriate, Im stilll wondering about one thing: What kind moronic parent allows their underage daughter (or any adolescent really) to go to a Jake Paul party? Who would ever think that something might go wrong at Jake Paul's party, am I right? :S

Im glad to hear that a predator actually received jail time, but when someone who actually raped someone gets to walk free it does little good. Yes, teenage girls were somewhat exploited, but these same teenage girls have just as likely a chance of sending that content to a boyfriend. Id much rather see full on rapists getting jail time

I am SO glad that Austin jones is finally receiving the treatment that he and others like him deserve. Also dont forget that deefizzy tried to expose him when they were touring together on warped tour and he was shut down and threatening by multiple people who could have done something about the situation.

the sultan didnt back pedal anything, he just paused the implementation, which means he can start it whenever he wants, (ideally when others arent looking) just like the announcement where they post it on their website, and 4 months later someone noticed it and share it around. #makebruneidiplomatic

Brunei is an oil state. The money they make from O&G completely dwarfs all other sectors combined. Not using their hotels is going to have very little to no impact. If we want to effect this situation we need to stop buying their oil. But then China will just buy it. So nothing is going to happen.
