I would have just taken the 60mil but that's because I'm not materialistic. I'm not interested in making insane amounts of money or buying things or living a luxurious life. I wouldn't even spend 10% of that 60mil in the rest of my life. Once you have 4mil you can put it in the bank and live of the interest, pay yourself a 6 figure salary every year till the day you die.
I currently earn about 50k and i live a really nice life, at the start of this year i actually moved branches and took a demotion because i just don't need the money and i wanted less stress. I like the place i live, i like the car i drive, i help support my mum who is retired and lives alone. I'm not rich, i earn 50k lol. but i like my life and i dont need a bigger house or better car to make it any better.

I think it s pretty worrying that politicians like AOC are bragging about their opponent s political events being sabotaged. Whether you re left-wing or right-wing, everybody should have the right to assemble politically and attend a rally, without people who disagree with them booking up all the tickets to sabotage the event. One major party shouldn t ever be bragging about something like that, it normalises the disruption and sabotaging of our democratic process, which is a slippery slope, and I d expect better from a progressive like AOC.

I love how all of the south's history is racist and we are forced into demonizing our ancestors. Most of the soldiers who bled and died under the confederate battle flag did so to protect their families and homes. I don't care either way for the confederate flag myself, but I have friends, both black and white, who show them with pride. And why should I say they shouldn't? It's none of my business. Even though some of my ancestors were actually slaves before the civil war. It was a long time ago.

the sooner we forget that flag the sooner the world forgets the struggles behind it is that what you really want cause the things we forget come back to remind us in the future and there never nice reminders we're getting pretty close to a future where offending people can ruin your life (its not our responsibility to NOT offend you) not that I agree with confederates but it did happen and what will we learn from it if its banned and forgotten.

phil, why didnt you cover a lot of democrat rallys that boasted high turnouts but in reality were jokes? your coverage of trump has been extremely biased. you're not even trying to dig deep into stuff anymore and its sad. you used to look at things from multiple angles even if they werent your views. THEN you would openly state your views. now its very hard to get a story from you without your view interwoven into the story itself.

With the Mixer thing, they chose the buy out because it will make them more money in the long run. They head back to Twitch and their numbers will pick back up fast (I would sub to shroud again, but I didn't follow him to Mixer because everyone else I watch is still on Twitch. With their viewership back up, stream sponsorship will make them that money over the next few years anyway, and they are not stuck in a new contract.

I think the worst part is that, for as bad as people think Trump is, and for as much as they won't him go, people won't even know what they want next. Cause it seems all the good, fair and viable options are gone, so we're just locked into another shitty choice like 2016. And there are those who would literally let Trump win again, simply cause they won't vote for the other guy, out of spite
