Im a theatre major enrolled at Texas A&M university Corpus Christi. My whole directing 2 class have been working on our site specific theatre project (theatre thats performed not on the stage. All of our shows have been canceled due to the virus. My show, which was already completely blocked, has been canceled as well as the rest of my peers who had already put in hours upon hours of work into their shows. This virus essentially sucks and its hard because ya theatre majors cant work together because the campus is closed. The theatre is taking a real hit during this. Also, not sure whats happening with graduation but it seems the ceremony wont happen either. My mom was crying because Im the only child in my family thats graduating college. Plans are now being canceled. Yeah, this Pandemic sucks

I think it would be really awesome if some of the actors and music artists that are always talking to us about doing the right thing, who to vote for and all their other messages, jumped on social media and did live streams of entertainment Free, talking to their fans, lightening the mood I did a video chat with my mom who is two blocks away, we wanted a wine night but she is older and I want to protect her because I love her and we had a blast chatting and focusing on pretending to do a wine tasting of pretty awful wines that were bought as a joke a while ago. I look forward to being able to hang out with her and not worrying I could get her sick. We need more tests

Just sucks some people cant stop working. Like especially small businesses that can't afford to close, and people living paycheck-to-paycheck can't afford to take off of work. Like I know about the whole unemployment thing but by the time you get that money your 2 weeks in the hole you can't afford groceries you can't afford bills so it's not exactly a good fix for people that are honestly poor. Actually most of the people around me who I know can't quarantine themselves even if they think they are sick because they literally can't afford it or their job has nothing in place to help them except for use your sick days

In Norway all schools, day cares, restaurants, sport avenues, hair dressers, just about anything except stores closed last week to stop the spread. Also the borders and anyone crossing it has to be quarantine for 14 days. There was alot of panic on thursday when they annonced this, but it has since settled down some at least. Luckily the government is trying to aid everyone who now cannot work rigth now or whos work is closed rigth now, but it is still very scary to think about all the consequenses this will have on the society.

As a diabetic, this is REALLY scary, for obvious reasons. I've been looking for water for days, and I can't find any alcohol. We have enough to worry about with this virus going on to be worrying about running out of medical supplies and food. Relatively healthy people like to joke that we're all gonna die, well that's a higher chance for a person with a compromised/weaker immune system. We aren't joking when we say we might die. People don't get that. Telling me oh, you'll be fine. Don't overreact. Isn't gonna change my reality

I live in rural northern CA and we've only had one case of the Corona virus. Not that worried about it to be honest. Being cautious and having an understanding about the situation is important, but I'm not going to start panicking and isolating my self just because the media is telling me too. If the death toll starts rising than sure, but for now just chillin. I am worried about friends and fam who live out of the area though. My buddy just moved to Italy and he says it's pretty strange there right now.

This applies even if there's been observed spread at school, if you've travelled regions where the virus has been, or someone in your family has symptoms or is sick. But on the bight side tho another county with less infected than mine has already shut down hospital visits and are working on the school situationso some are at least prepared.
