We Need To STOP This Coronavirus Misinformation, Clear Up Confusion, & Talk About What Happens Next FretHopper: The world's response to coronavirus is, like, the 123, 000 reason the world is doomed. It's not even the virus, it's people. And why. oh God why. is nobody asking about the Hong Kong Protesters who suddenly came down with a mysterious flu/pneumonia - like illness that hit a core group of 100 protesters, where like 20 died, a few weeks before corona-virus broke out in wuhan? What did they have? How did they die? why has this story been scrubbed from news sources? Was COVID19 engineered and unleashed on the world?

So as a european (Romania) we ve started closing down the borders (and we re screening everyone thats coming in from infected countries) and most official buildings & schools. Malls are also closing down and pretty much everything that s got to do with gatherings of people. In our capital for the past 3 days you could hear abulances non stop. Day and night. (That s not normal) and so far in those 3 days we ve had 50+ cases. It s rumored (from officials) that our capital is going into quarantine this week. Regarding those careless people we re fining them 4k euros and you get a criminal record. That can change up to 2 years in prison. (To keep people from spreading it or lying about where you came from. We ve had 20 cases of people doing that. And one of the officials working in the capitals town hall got a criminal record because she spread it knowigly)Regarding economy since covid got to europe my currency went from 4. 5 lei for 1 euro to almost 5 lei for 1 euro. (In a month. Thats really bad since it was stable before) An economical crisis is to be expected in the following months. This is happening all over eastern europe. The west is also closing down but they re not responding as fast. And there s no urgency. I have friends over there who confirmed this. This is more than just a flu and it can affect us long term if it s got hiv strains. This is the state of my country. A country in europe. Don t panic but be alert. There is a trend in mass media of either going overboard with panicking or doing the exact opposite. There s no one actually talking facts. This is nasty and it will get worse. You have to be prepared but you also have to know how to deal with it and not panic. 1 major thing is that masks and washing does not help Its airborne. Breathing next to you is enough to get incected. Stay safe U. S. & dont be sheep to the conventional media (cnn & such) things are bad but missinformation is crazy

I get that the disease has already established a foothold here in North America and can't be stopped by a travel ban. But it seems to me that a travel ban at this time will have some effect. If you stop new cases from entering from outside, then the overall number of cases will be lower. For example, say a travel ban stops 1000 infected people from entering. Given the typical infection pattern the 1000 cases you stop will also stop the infection of 2000 additional people, which stops the infection of 4000 people, then 8000, 16000 etc. Now there may be other ways that are as effective or nearly as effective, but that does not nullify that this will reduce the number of people infected and likely flatten the infection curve so that the healthcare system doesn't have to handle as many cases in the near term. In summary, all things considered, the travel ban may not be the best policy, but that doesn't make it ineffective or bad (it will not cause more cases, white the contrary.

All jokes aside, I really appreciate this video. I was supposed to be abroad in Italy until May and got moved to Malta last Friday since my university cant have students in CDC level 3 countries. There has been so much confusion, and Trumps statements really put us into a panic because we thought we wouldnt be able to get home. We are now being forced to go back to the US by our university, but its reassuring to see your show and have my questions answered. Thank you for your efforts to correct misinformation and keep us all informed. Those of us that have been directly affected by all of this appreciate it so much. I have to quarantine myself for two weeks when I get back this weekend, and Ill definitely be turning into the show through them.

Trumps delivery there is so incredibly bad. How is it that WH Staff can orchestrate this sort of thing without at least having arranged a coach offscreen for him to mirror so he comes off as less of a soulless void to his human audience. Then there's the creation of this speech for a POTUS to read on teleprompter, (to avoid him mucking it up TOO bad) to address an entire nation in medical health crisis mode about something so financially impactful and not bother getting it accurate? Yikes. So much incompetence - not surprising. But I DID honestly think Trump to be vain and self-absorbed enough not to allow himself looking like THAT MUCH of an awkward drongo in his speeches. Hahahaha

Spoiler alert. You can't kill a virus. You can't kill something that isn't alive. It's like saying you're gonna kill that book. Honestly anyone who says kill against a virus. doesn't know jackshit. You can destroy/disable the virus. It's essentially a bad set of instructions for your cells. One that uses your cells to mass produce more of them. but yea. misinformation of the coronavirus should stop. Once you get it, all you can do is make sure your body is prepped for microbiological invasion and make sure your immunity is working 100% efficiency. Something the very young and the elderly lack. Weakened immunity. You already know what happens with the immunocompromised peepz.

As an italian in quarantine along with the entire country, I laughed pretty hard at the water hack to kill the virus. Jokes aside, please don't make the same mistakes that Italy has made when the virus was spreading: -when schools closed to stop the cases from going up, people thought YAY EXTRA HOLIDAY and started travelling all around italy-when the government put the northern regions into quarantine, people panicked and tried to escape them by going to the south-families emptied the supermarkets for no reason (you can still buy things during the quarantine)-some cases are asymptomatic (you can still feel fine while having the virus)

I know my problems dont compare to others. But Im in a situation where i am mostly socially isolated and suffering mental health issues, and because of where i live, the annual anime on Sakuracon is like, my one thing that i look forward too and build towards every year. I was so excited, Expedia lily since last year sucked because of drama with my ex. Im devastated and it just. Maybe if our healthcare was more functional. I am still planning to use my ticket and hotel to spend a weekend in Seattle but Ill miss out on the events, supporting small artists and seeing and meetin news friends. lets hope it is resolved quickly.

I'd be willing to wager, that post going viral with misinformation prompting more people to take caution; does less harm than You prompting people to see a post like this and assume negatively. You didn't even really clear up what was wrong about it and what was right, which a tweet in your own production admits. Blanket stating this as misinformation with good intent, I promise does more harm than good, despite in comparison what may be misinforming about brother nature's precautionary message

0: 56 that makes no sense when you literally inhale germs. Droplets are real and germs travel. Dude just eat a high antioxidant breakfast eat your oranges. You can't prevent infections. You're not perfect. You're going to wipe your eye, youre going to do shit thats idiotic. They say frequently wash your hands but you constantly touch your phone. Yes, keep washing hands please and clean your phone too. Just prepare for it. Building your immune system is the best precaution.
