The only reason we were as far behind as we were in the beginning is because of China. They covered this thing up for months and in that time they hoarded medical supplies from around the world. First whistle blower to expose this was in Australia. Then to top it off the shipments that were in route to us that had medical gear and the things we need to make ventilators and the testing kits, turned around and brought back to china. They halted all exports too. People need to stop trying to blame Trump for this when the blame is 100% on China. Had they spoke up sooner and been honest, our officials would have had the information they needed to act sooner. People are acting like Trump was the only one in the dark, or like he alone was the one ignoring warnings w/e. The whole of the media and even Democrat leadership were out telling people it was overblown and to come out for Chinese new year and to continue going out to eat etc. Even into the end of Feb early March How much better off would NYC be right now if De Blasio wasn't out there telling people to ignore the president and still come out and party and celebrate the Chinese new year? They were too focused on painting Trump racist and a fear monger. They also were more interested in the impeachment and after that whether or not mini Mike would use a box to stand on at the debates. I'm so tired of this constant narrative that is painting Trump in the wrong or being at fault for everything all the time. Idc what your personal feelings towards the man are. the facts are the facts. He created the task force all the way back in Jan. while the Dems were trying to impeach him over that ludicrous Ukraine nonsense. Instead of trying to pin it all on Trump why don't people ever take into consideration how distracted the admin might have been since impeachment was going on at the same time? Why do people never call into questions the actions taken by people on the other side? It's just completely mind-boggling how many people will just ignore facts and even pretend like shit didn't happen just so they can keep pointing the finger at Trump or justify their absurd hatred for the man. The media is literally siding with China over this all because it's the side against Trump. these people threatened to withhold aid to us so that we would live in Coronavirus hell. literally threatening to kill us. yet these corporate establishment losers STILL defend them and attack Trump. it's just appalling as can be

Yeah, Trump was demonstrably wrong in his response to COVID. But that won't matter, because his brand is a presidential cult of personality. Unlike most presidents, he doesn't rely on successful policies to be supported. His model is instead the alpha male, who calls any media that disagrees with him fake, who kicks reporters out of the White House for asking tough questions, who brags about what a good job he's doing and how amazing everyone who supports him is, but never actually bothers to prove it. In fact, he gets mad if you ask him to, and he will discredit you. He's a demagogue. And if you aren't familiar with that word, just look it up. Look it up and just SEE how well it describes him. Then, once you've done that, look up dictator and see how much those two words have in common.

I have this question that maybe someone will help me answer: what is the purpose in looking at what the U. S. government could have done at this point? Ive seen Phil repeatedly examine and state the fact that the U. S. could have done better in multiple videos, but what is the purpose in that? Is it to generate anger towards the president? Express frustration? I genuinely dont know because while I see that yes the situation couldve been handled much better, theres no use in crying over spilt milk, rather than now we have to deal with the spilt milk instead.

I feel instead of uniting the DNC we should revamp the whole thing entirely. They have shown time and time again they don't care who the people want and if they have a particular person in mind to be a presidential candidate they will do everything in their power to make sure that person gets the candidacy. It's as if all they care about is how big their wallet can get now not how can we truly help the people. The Democratic Party needs to be reformed not united as long as the same people that have been doing this are still there.

You should have really shown Biden's response to Bernie, where he says he'll need him not only to win the campaign, but also to govern. That matters, especially to the Bernie supporters, who are looking for Bernie to have a serious voice in the upcoming administration. Right then is when Biden confirmed he will. We'll see if he follows up on that, but it was an important point to cap that story, and instead you cut to a paid sponsor.

as sad as it still is, I'm still going to vote for trump. I don't like him, and I don't want him as president, but I still think he is better than Biden. (my personal opinion)and just so people know, I wanted Tulsi gabbard or Andrew yang. sadly with those two out, I'm back to 4 years ago when I have to vote for one of two pieces of shit I didn't like. I voted for the lesser of the two shits back then as I will now.

me laughing at fox news for finally getting what was coming to them when they just blindly defended the president and all his actions. they have to had realize that he doesn't want real media coverage, he's essentially just looking for a propoganda machine and when they can't provide that service for him it's time to find someone who can. this is why objectivity in the news is important
