We are lower in per case death because we test more. So yeah we'll have the best per case death stat but that doesn't matter. Death isn't the only thing you have to worry about with this disease. It's failing lungs, liver, esophagus. Yes death can be a part of it especially for the elderly but the lasting effects on the younger people that get it can be tragic. Death rate can be inflated because of the false reported deaths that if you died and had covid it's considered a covid death whether you died of covid complications or hit by a bus. What we need to look at is percent of cases tested positive. That number is only going up in hot zones. That's how we really know if we're handling things correctly.

As far as that Axios interview goes, I'm not mad, I'm just embarrassed, it's straight denial of facts and a total lack of recognition of quite literally what's in front of him. It's not making me angry, it's making me pity him, it's truly baffling that THIS is the guy running the show and THIS is what is supposed to stop Covid-19. What a joke of a man. Either he is delusional or he is just completely trying to spin the interview in his favor, gas lighting the individual to question his own data. Either way this is undeniably, alongside one of his previous interviews where he brags about his scores, the most damning proof that he is truly unfit to be in office.

Funny that the ones supporting her are the biggest celebrities. Of course she s nice to them! And them posting about her contributions overall is the problem. People who claim or actually support people as a whole then mistreat people in their actual lives are the problem. Few people are honest about who they are and hide behind a mask of caring. And to be clear the show s allegations are still her responsibility. If she knew and did nothing she is then culpable as well. If she did not care about complaints, If she told people not to come to her, she is culpable.

Here in Melbourne, Australia, we are all wearing masks, we have a curfew and we can only leave the house to do our grocery shopping or exercise. We are all at home unless we have written permission to be at work. All of these precautions are put in place & we have less than 1, 000 people daily testing positive for COVID. Australia has lost less than 1, 000 people to COVID! It s crazy to think other countries aren t doing the same thing as us.

So like in Australia we have Australia Day (which is a celebration of the anniversary of colonialists invading Australia, different can of worms. Communities give out citizenship awards like Young Australian of the Year ect, I m not saying Johnathan Swan should be the Australian of the Year for 2021, but he should be America s Australian of the Year. just saying.
