Hello,
I found that acid from PB battery is getting chemical reaction with white cliffs ground - the white ground. I am bad in chemistry but the elements is making some gas. It can use with pressure barrels to make pressure for turn some turbines - such wind or something similar. I used rain water for the battery, says it fine. Just dunno how long the reaction last, maybe it is just salt or soda.
Thanks

ALWAYS recharge your Lead - Acid battery as SOON as possible, after ANY discharging! . leave your ( almost ) flat battery ( in an old shed / garage, for weeks? ), and it will be dead forever! , and with a 12 Volt car battery make SURE the charging voltage NEVER exceeds 14 Volts, or you lose water ( especially important for sealed or gel types. DAVE.

The atomic THEORY has never been scientifically proven (electrons, protons, neutrons. How do you know unproven electrons are the cause of electricity when it is well understood that FLUX is the cause of electricity NOT the flow of imaginary electrons?

I've only seen the chemical action and electron movement in one book during a training session many years ago put on by Delco Remy. This short video makes it so much easier to understand!
Thankyou for this video.

I wish i could be more easily explained:
What is plate? Properties of plates? Deep cycle? Lead acid battery for home advantage & disadvantage? Why a 23 plate battery become useless in 2 years?

QUESTION: : LED BATTERY SHELF LIFE? How long Are brand new batteries climit control stored. good for? I mean after a battery tainer charge are they still fine? Maybe top off the acid?

Excellent tutorial. By keeping the battery well charged and never leaving it in a completely discharged state, my TATA Nano car battery gave 9 years of trouble-free service.

I like your videos but would prefer if you used conventional rather than electron flow. It gets confusing because although you're correct everyone else uses conventional.

You have labeled the cathode as being positive and the anode as being negative. Isnt this contrary to conventional current flow?

One thing he needs to explain is a generator VS and alternator. And you can't directly charge a lead acid battery with and alternator.
reply

Aren't the anode and cathode swapped in your illustration? I've always seen the cathode called out as the negative terminal

Really well explained. I remember this from college and it wasn't explained anywhere near as well as this was.

can you do a quick video on how a lead acid battery dangerously overcharges and causes a sulfer smell
