Fun fact! One of the Wit's tongues is displayed in a museum that is very close to our current prime ministers work place. As a Dutch person I see this is a direct threat to him. Rutte, you have to be a good guy, they will eat you. Also, Johans brother was brutally tortured because of a claim that he was plotting to murder William. He never confessed because 1. If he would he would be publicly executed, and 2. He didnt do it. While there are hints to that William himself had someone make that claim, it was never confirmed.
