So I'm 40% explorer, 40% negotiator, 10% builder, and 10% director. And my love is 30% explorer, 30% builder, 20-30% negotiator and 20-30% director (yes, I know it's over 100%, for a reason. And when I'm with him, I go over 100% too, because my builder level rises. But when we negotiate, we either negotiate perfectly, or negotiate in full pride mode. Fun, innit?

This is a good video but a very short snippet taken out of context from Dr Helen Fishers work. What the speaker fails to mention in that these traits are present in all of us but some aspects are more dominant than others. Its this scale and variation that determines who we are attracted to and these like hormones and chemicals changes throughout our lives.

I am a balance of the four types. More importantly I can adjust accordingly. However, I am so perfect that I have not found someone good enough to give love a try for years. Nevertheless, I am perfectly happy. If someone comes up and proves himself to be good enough, I will probably give it another go. But I am not looking for it.

The problem with typing is that people believe that they are one of the four, while in reality she Dr. H. Fisher) meant that we are all four, but on different levels.
Hence a person can be an explorer and builder. In her theory, that's possible.
