1. Self motivated, I feel this is a good one. The importance of perseverance came through for me in the long run.
2. Focusing on the small steps is a good way to go.
3. Flexible, physically and mentally, I know to take it easy once in a while.
4. Yeah, I've been there. I don't get insecure, but resilience comes through easily for me. I just like to remain positive, no matter the downfalls. Experience is the one thing I get from just about anything.
5. I don't follow mainstream, so I want to achieve in my own way.

Define Success for yourself before you reach for it.
For example success to me is having a balanced life. Amazing health, friends, family, an enjoyable career making lots of money, happiness. This is much harder than just trying to be rich solely. Or JUST having good friends. Or JUST having great health. This is how I personally define success and I use the habit's in this video constantly to try and keep my life balanced: ! Its hard! But each day is more enjoyable than when I used to just work constantly

It kinda seemed hopeless 3 years ago, but it turned out way better now. :D

Hi, I have a video request, that being about different types of multiple personality disorders and how they can affect you. I know a person with 3 people in her head. Another one of my friends have something called a Pulpa, shortly speaking, it's a voice in your head that you more or less choose personality traits.
I would be really interested in the idea and would love it if you made a video about it! Thanks your supporter, Axel!

For me the biggest threat to long term success is burn out because you could get alot of stuff done one day or one week but then you experience burn out or exhaustion which disables you from making any progress sometimes from any where to a few days to a very long time. It's damaging equiptment in a machine because you work it too hard and then it can't get fixed and you can't get anything done for a month.

Something I found really useful when I was a self-employed jobbing artist was to keep to proper work times. Even if I didn't have any work in from clients, I'd work at designs and send them to greetings cards publishers plus carry out the business side of things, etc. Having a proper work schedule keeps a good flow going and helps you to stay enthusiastic about your work. :)

I agree with many of these points. However, quick point. Not all success simply comes with hard work. You have to consider resource, financial means, and personal circumstances. Rich people are already at an advantage due to their environment, lol. When you work your way up by means of education and had little to nothing, that's total efforts and determination right there!

Some successful people in my work area is kiss butt. The better you are at it the better or easier the job. Most of the Younger girls in my area use their kiss butt techniques to land themselves an easy job. A few go for the better jobs, but it's a little bit harder because the more ass kissing you have to do and there is no guarantee all of them will like them.

I have a routine, I spend time with family and listen to music but study and read books at the same times everyday. I also treat myself to baths once in a while to relax. I find art and lofi relaxing. Remember life isnt just about success, there might be no meaning to life but life is a gift and be happy, spend time with loved ones, and help others!

To do lists are wonderful. They can help you not only organize the small bits of progress you make per day, and let you scale the amount of progress you make per day slowly at your own pace, but it's also a great motivational tool to look at all the days you've been successful in a row by going down your full list of the days you were successful.

I enjoy the video, however I completely disagree. I know people who use most or all habits to try succeed but don't. I believe everyone has a chance, but I'm a realistic. if a person is lazy and follows the habit once a day or does commit themselves then you out of luck. Plus it's life not everyone can be successful. .

I listen to audio books while I workout because I dont like reading. But having it play in the background helps me stay focused on my goals, physically and mentally. Also having a vision board helps a lot because I am more of a visual learner and it helps me remember what I am trying to accomplish.

is it weird that my school enforces these seven habits? like in may or June we have a event that relates to the seven habit. last year was a raffle of stuff relating to each habit and this year was a carnival theme with bouncy castles, popcorn and cotton candy(it really wasnt anything special)

HabitGrams are simply reminders.
We help you keep the most important stuff in the front of your mind. Nothing magical, just bringing your attention back to the things you care about. You set them up on habitgrams. com to be delivered on a schedule to your email or cell phone.

If anyone wants to be successful I highly suggest reading the book, 7 habits of highly effective people
If you want to be more influencing/well liked, I would then reccomend reading the book, How to make friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie
Hope this helped!

Something I find useful when setting goals is that I try not to let other people define what success is for me, ie that school grades arent all you need to be successful, finding a loving partner and finding time for things you love is a success in its own way

Alot of people dont succeed in alot of things bc they get stuck in the depression they have fell in. It does take time to get up again but jusy know that there is hope for you!
reply

When you're severely depressed, unmotivated, and fatigued and you've always had a certain dream job since you were a child but you watch this and now you feel like a failure.

For those who don't have any of these(including myself) don't worry I know lots and lots of people who are successful though they don't have any of these characteristics.
reply

I would like to say something little bit off topic - your videos are usually very nicely illustrated, but this one just took me for a ride withs its nice art: ); )
