i'm definately good with altruistic love. I grew up in toxic family relationship, I find the strength as an adult to admit and full recognize this, without the fog and mirrors.
actually, I think this area of lack an color in my life, offsets and denys all the other forms of love in a sense. not that it has to, but in reflection, it does
because i've been force to deny myself love to myself, the cost is my own self beyond the sacrificial kind, more of the detrimental kind of drive yourself to crazy expecting others to do the same, kind of love
i'm so used to the drama and the abuse. but as an adult, i don't want that any more. i just want a mix of the pragmatic love and the exotic love. i mean i just want a healthy kind of love
i'm not the kind of person that could live with myself with the no strings attached' kind of love. its a bit a-moral and i just am beyond that point i think. not that my flesh doesn't have a taste for it, its nature. but I just can't seem to execute it out
either what way though, the video is eye opening, to think about all the colors life has to offer.

So the old divide and conquer is ued here also. No one can explain what love is so you make up different kinds of love. This gives you control on made up facets of what it really is. Works for food because it is actualy anything that can substain life. Is life really the begining and time spent till the end? Sad but true for most. Love is what you were born with. Time in your mom not to mention her eggs where there when she was born. And how old was your dads sperm? How much love was in the making of you? Now your born with it what do you do? All that love what to do? Give it away! Love is those before here now and those to come. It not religon or they would not all say god forgives everything and says your going to hell because you were bad. Then he says you do not get their by deeds along. Coming back to rule over earth with those from heaven. When in truth if you knew what the love you have in your could do their would never be a sin. What there is to rule if there was true love filling the world from your heart

Is it possible in a relationship to feel and need a balance of more than one kind of love or to go through stages?
I would think that playful ludus love with its flirtatious nature would help feed into keeping that eros love alive.
But a relationship founded on just ludus and eros seems like it has an expiration.
Pragma and philia seem to be what would be the roots in a strong marriage.
You hear about people marrying their best friend. Would that mean they also have a sense of philia with their partner?
I am willing to bet the strongest couples have a combination of those 4 or at least Eros and Philia.

It's OK to be child still and color for your parents let's say for 20 years untill you are fully developed. If you were conscious in a mature mind set. You would not be showing a cartoon to a bunch of Childeren. Let's report this video. Inorder for the creator to understand.

The more you talk to someone the closer u get to them, so if u can push past ur fear, u can reveal more information to that person and see if they will do the same for you. I am lucky that I have experienced (and / or still experience) all of them, except Mania.
No so many people, can say that. But having an experience of them all (except the toxic one, I guess it makes me someone special. I just never really thought about this whole concept, even if I already knew that friendship is a special kind of love, that many people don't consider it as love.

Wonderfully interesting and well done video but might also provide more actual psychological (scientifically competent) validation from empirical--and other religious traditions. A Buddhist bias seems to slant the perspective here, and distort/confuse the linguistic and Western traditional origins of some of these notions and specific terms. Love your stuff! Thanks very much.

I feel so grateful I have experienced most of these despite a lot of heartache in between. It's lead me to Ensuring love with my current partner which I just adore experiencing Pragma love in my life.
I don't know what friendship love feels like tho. Not yet, anyway.
