Im a victim. I grew up in an extremely chaotic and loud household, my nephews and nieces and siblings would stay up for hours, and I would lie in bed, still a child, imagining what the world would be like with a different family, a new home, and in a different place that would probably be snowing all the time or something. I would be like that for so long and then during some nights I decide to take out a notebook and draw some romantic stuff. Most of the times an hour or two would pass pretty quickly and next thing I know it is around 2AM in the morning. I was mostly asleep during daytime I slept for so long it would seem like I was sick or had a cold, especially during summer when they didn't wake me up.
The memories are old and even though they are all I got, I would not go back

Im a mix of all of them. I have the cold collected vibe [or so Im told by a lot of people] but instead my emotions run rampant. I feel like I have no worth and that i deserve to feel alone. I escape the real world into my imagination wishing fictional characters, wether my creation or someone elses, existed. When I do have a relationship I try and keep them happy but at the same time if something doesnt meet my expectations I collapse into a sobbing angry heap. And I have a reason I dislike all the live languages [gifts, acts of service, ect] Bacicalky Im a train wreck thats also on fire

I'm the pleaser and as a kid I that would happen then my pleaser phase began I would sweep for them to finally be proud of me but no I missed a spot. I was always thinking I had to be perfect to be noticed so I was I never lied got good grades and was telling my parents everything they wanted to know and I thought they had favorites a lot and that and other reasons gave me anxiety, slight depression, dyslexia and personality disorder so the way you were raised can really affect your life that's all.

According to this video I am an avoidant and anxious. I get uncomfortable when others cry before me ans yet when someone leaves me on seen or leavea me alone during conflicts. I get very angry at them and start screaming. But I am also diagnosed with Borderline which makes everything worse for me. My boyfriend was the avoider and it almost killed me on the inside because he always withdrew and left me standing there. Alone. I still feel sad that I broke my relationship.

Omg I was gonna say the same thing. I related to almost all of them. This isn't the kind of stuff I wanted to relate to others on. This is Soo messed up so many experienced this and yet it wasn't even our choices. I'm born 1982 and I know the previous generation will never admit to it but if they messed us up this bad can you imagine how bad they must have been messed up? Only mentally messed up people raise their kids this messed up too. Just something to think about.

I relate to the pleaser style the most. My mom doesn't really mind what kind of grade I get in school, she just says that I did great, I tried my best, tlt. But I knew what she really meant by looking in her eyes. I have to do more. And my dad, hm, doesn't really get enough of it, so he says some things like, better luck next time, you can do better than that. It's exhausting being the 'good kid'.

I come under the vacillator type. Ended my relationship out of anger one day. The breakup hurt like hell, i thought i finally had someone to share my sorrow, happiness, everything. But my partner went through her share of life incidences in her past which didn't let her to show affection. I tried to understand her and i did. But my anger got the best of me. Have a lot of regrets and pain.

I am numb to my feelings, but I wanted this. I can express myself to the fullest if I feel the need to, or that yearning feeling in my heart to do so, like laughing or deep, silent sadness. In relayionships, I acted as the rock to lean on, but learned to be straightforward with my thoughts, so I think Id fall in a grey zone

When I think that they say you're mimicking what happened in your childhood and you're gravitatimg toward a controller I want to cry. It is the relationship that I don't want. I really don't want my home to be the same as my parents' home. But unintentionally it is going to happen to me too. It hurts.

I'm the Avoider, because my mother threw me away to an orphanage, when I was only 1 year old.
Sometimes, I cry a lot, watching these Psych2Go.
I deal with multiple traumas, so I try to stay strong. Sometimes I can. Sometimes, I have to cry in the arms of my beloved wife.

I definitely feel inclings towards each style, but the victim one sits different: my household was 100% chaotic and stressful, often leaving me to my imagination and creativity for solice. How can one begin to heal and nurture our inner child once we identify our love styles?

more in-depth information on how to differentiate between the five 5: 21 5: 22 would be helpful, as I see all five of these as being part of a singularity. Kind of like the five arms of a starfish, using whichever arm or pairs of arms is best suited to achieve the final goal.

I am a mix of pleaser type and victim type.
I can escape into the fantasies when I get so stress, and I imagined a world where I do not have to deal with the problem in the first place.
But it was because I was bullied at school, not because of my parents.

Relationship styles are almost never this simple. You are likely to see some traits from multiple styles, just due to the complexity of individual personalities and family dynamics.

I identify myself in every one of these except for the vacillator. My therapist says I have social anxiety disorder and I'm working on that, but my childhood explains a lot.

What happens when they all do? And none really out weigh the other? I would say the vacillating pleaser would be most predominant due to being a victim. therapy sooner

I'm definitely a pleaser. I have a personality that's to weak sometimes, I should say what I want but at the same time I'm so scared that I ask for to much.

My parents treated me terrible therefore I am an avoider and vacilater. I am not that much of a controller but I am extremely assertive. I use to be a victim
