I never really got the choice 9f what i put in my room. Most of my stuff was bought by my parents and placed too.
2 years ago i managed to make them repaint the main bedroom (my room has 2 parts, u redecorate to bottom room only) in an other color then baby pink. But what I personally wanted was a blue that was close to black or a dark orange, but the repainted is baby blue, since the color I wander would make the room seem smaller. What i actually wanted but anyways.
Last month I got my mom to agree removing one of my snow white shelves with an old wooden with golden accessories drawer and added gold/brown mirrors!
When I'll be good enough to move out, i will probably take those items.
The best is that I finally got to take that St. maria holy water bottle out of my room and I'm starting to sleep better since then.
Next task is to burn it.

My bed is in a closest that was just big enough for me to lie down in and was able to shove a mattress into. Half of it is a a space for me to work out, while the other half is where I keep my computers, instruments, and recording gear because I thought I could make the other closet a makeshift iso-booth. I have a Godzilla poster and a yin-yang circle posted on the mostly empty walls. There's a bookshelf where I keep my metal albums, Godzilla figs, and Gundam models. I don't know what the hell you can make of that.

Everything is a mess in my room, my shelfs are unorganized, I have lots of junk and I dont try to keep it clean really. The only clean space really in my room is my desk where my Xbox setup is. Everything else I don't really care about keeping tidy or anything unless it actively involves my setup in any way such as having my Xbox taken away for having a dirty room. I also have a lot of gaming posters and stuff from videogames because I am the biggest gamer ever and I play videogames too much.

well im poor and share my room with 2 other people so we didnt get much choice in how our room looks we kinda just got whatever furniture was necessary and arranged it a practical way for all 3 of us but when i move out and get my own room i would like to think it will be a pretty clean space i will have my alter and a bunch of stuffed animals on my bed maybe a hammock in the corner but i really just want a space to myself since i havent ever really had that

I usually attempt to clean up all of my art supplies off of the floor but never end up finishing it because of going to do other things. A nice computer area with speakers and controller, a bookshelf stocked with reading material and trinkets, plushes scattered about. Ight so my room has no posters, random books on my shelf which I basically never read. I have an empty corsair keyboard box and some random unopened toys that I would probably sell in 30 years and my room is not too tidy but not too messy and I have a window that is about 7 feet up the wall. I wonder what my personality is.

My rooms almost always incredibly messy, I have no motivation to clean to much. But when I do it always makes a big impact on my room. I have a lot of paintings and drawings on every wall in my room, I hang painted my shelf also. I have lots of candles and art supplies, lots of books also. With plenty of stuffed animals

As someone who's autistic, decorating my room means so much to me with all my stuff reflecting my special interests, like once I had a friend who hadn't been in my room before and saw all my sp and mcr stuff and went Woah, dude you like south park and my chem? and we ended up talking about that for hours: )

I bought a single foam mattress for my bed and a small straw cabinet for my bedroom. The teddy bears and 2 colorful paintings were given to me by my boyfriend. I have a few books about real estate next to my bed simply because I am studying right now. I must be simple minded since my room is so basic.

A while ago I put up some red decoration lights in my living room (I have an entire flat for myself) and just sitting in that red light doing things feels a 1000 times nicer than with just regular lighting. So I think I'm beginning to understand the thoughts and feelings regulators part.

Yeah mine pretty much screams nerd with anime posters, dvds, figures, and video games. also bookworm from manga to novels to art to mythology. My room is weirdly both organized with things group by category, and disorganized by random piles of things I don't know where to put.

i think i subconsciously keep my floor clean because i dont turn on lights at night unless i have to
all the surfaces in my room and really messy though
and i have quite a lot of things important to me that hold no value to anyone else and they are kept on my bedside table

I've been intending to clean up. for years. I want to make the house presentable because it's two of us now, and I want him to be comfortable bringing people over--because he does that sometimes. Now I have more inspiration to do it, and ideas on how. Yay!

And don't put people with two styles together. Shared a room with someone who shoved everything under her bed. I was brought up to be neat. Caused a lot of resentment when her momma asked why she couldn't be neat like I was.

I only got a mattress in my bedroom at the moment. I think in this video the bedroom is meant more like a personal room. For me the bedroom is a place to sleep and any other room a place to live, or did I get this wrong?
