One thing I learned and eventually tested was a sleep cycle where you actually sleep twice a day. Usually youll have a extended nap as your second session of sleep. Our brains are made for this due to the sun and visibility. Non-nocturnal animals (potential threats) are going to be awake and active during the day, as everything winds down; meanwhile nocturnal animals are waking up and in doing so arent ready to hunt, but will soon. This is where our second sleep session takes place. After we wake up its normal to go out and get out last meal of the day (sometimes first because its in the AM. This sleep pattern seemed to be too complicated for a large mass of people to operate under and therefore we made a change to stay up longer and therefore sleep longer. When I did my tests I noticed a much higher level of energy and productivity. Along with that I had notably less depressive symptoms. I try and get a nap of sorts but sometimes I dont get to. Main thing is to get the sleep you need, when youre tired, get some rest; theres a reason youre tired.

I failed my mid term maths exam
It's just because of my anxiety and depression
I feel like a failure. I always get judged by my marks
It's just that my parents and sisters don't understand being a person with depression, anxiety being an introvert and someone with loads of medical and mental issues/diseases which have never beem discussed with their parents. I wish their was someone I'm too small for illness and these above diseases but I just have them
If u r going through the same thing remember u r not alone and Marks dont define you u r talented and it's ok if this happened none of this is your fault

This is exactly why I want to explode every time somebody tells me that a person doesn't need 7 or 8 hours of sleep; or when they say that sleep is over-rated. We live in a society that seems to think of sleep (or any kind of rest) as a privilege, not a need. People sometimes try to make me feel less than when I say that I don't enjoy getting up at 5: 00 in the morning, (some get up and are actually productive, and others just get up for no particular reason. Am I a lazy person for wanting to sleep in? Not if I am staying up late getting stuff done while the early risers are already sleeping.

NAPS YES! You ever notice how cranky adults are after lunch! How easy we forget the most basic things we are taught! When your kids are fussing and fighting and running wild, what do you do? Make them take a nap! Then what? They are so much better to be around, huh? There you go! In fact, i have never stopped taking naps since, well, my whole life. Im 45. I mean. im 29. Lol

THAT'S why I keep getting story ideas when I'm trying to sleep
So gaming time makes sense now
I guess I defy science then, I do at least 3 tasks simultaneously and get better brain function when something is happening in the 'background'
I'll listen to music in order to better understand a conversation, no switching between tasks here

I'm glad that despite the whole 'wholesome and positive' aesthetic that you guys share some of the darker sides to brain function in this video. You showed us the whole picture without sugar coating it too much and I appreciate that, keep it up!
