Frequently comparing yourself to others. I don't compare. I just hate how I look.
Keeping negative thoughts. It's called facing the facts. Too bad the facts are negative.
Not knowing how to say no. Saying no is how I got nowhere in life. Trust me, it was the moral/ethical decision. every. damn. time.
Blaming others all the time. I don't blame anyone unless they are at fault. I own my own crap, so I aint gonna own anyone else's.
Keeping toxic relationships. All relationships are toxic. eventually.
Not asking for help. This is over-rated and risky. The help people are willing to give is what they are willing to give (which aint much) and/or what THEY think is help (not what I actually asked for.

Comparing yourself to others dosen't destroy your confidence, your own feelings do. You can have the intention of not letting the feelings control you or affect you in a way you don't want. You can bring in the feeling of being confident in yourself. Even if you FEEL unconfident if you compare yourself, you can embody confidence with your THOUGHTS and ACTIONS. Experience or practice may change your feelings as well. So again, its your own self that makes you unconfident, if you have the intention of being confident in yourself you can compare all you want and be confident in yourself even if others may have more or better of something than you. It also may be helpful to love oneself.

when i was younger i used to compare myself to others but i dont since i turned 13 i was like im the best of myself not like anyone else. and i really appreciate me for keeping my heads up in every hard time. i know im not yet experienced im will be turning 15 soon. but everyday i learn something new. i cant change the past and change wht i've done. once im caught in that phase of anxiety its not easy to get rid of it. but i can atleast cope up with it and do meaningful things which can be a better future for me.

Thank you for this!
After I was diagnosed with depression and OCD, having accounts on social media made my getting through of my disease even harder. I used to compare myself with my social media friends and I often see negative news. But now I decided to erase all of my socmed accounts and I am living life to the fullest, with more peace of mind and less worries. This is the life that I want and would always want.

Keeping up toxic friends away is hard for me, you often don't realise that they're toxic when you're in. And although you know they're toxic they're not all bad and some people might not realise their behaviour is bad, you still think to the good moments. And when you realise that toxic people are actually psychologically broken people too, you feel bad for them.

one time, my mom noticed me how much stress i've been going through a lot so she started saying stuff out of nowhere like im always be here if you need help. lmao but the next day i was sobbing so hard bc i felt so completely overwhelmed and etc, all i heard from my mom was because im too sensitive. this made me think that its not worth trying to call for help _

i feel like one i have is, being toxic and have no idea how to get better. it isn't an excuse i just don't know if I'm changing in the good or bad way. bc i want to change trust me, i hate how i am and i never wanted to be like this. but its hard to change if you don't know if you're doing it right

I love how y'all approached #3: by giving the strategy of first thank them for coming to you for this, second straight-to-the-point say no it makes it feel like there is a more structured way to do it rather than more vague words such as don't stress it it just say no, thank you for the assistance

Overcoming trauma is hard. I try to change my mindset but I end up forgetting about it and naturally going back to a bad habit state. I actually have to put forth effort and remind myself not to do these things but its hard. Weeks can go by without remembering that Im trying to change my mindset.

I think pointing out that my other son does not scream as much as him has actually made him stop screaming. Whatever makes him stop and think about his behavior and makes him want to change is good as long as he knows he's loved just as much and you have no favourites!

For me, music of all things mades me sick. I'm highly talented in the music realm, yet highly sensitive as well. I loved music and became addicted to the way it made me feel, which was melancholy. I vowed to put music down and listen to podcasts. It has helped me 100%.

Myself I am 60yr old. Social media is insanity personified. All these people constantly posting about narcissists, who do not exist. People asking ludicrous questions like 'My partner is cheating, what should I do? . Really people get off of social media. Get a life.

Think I got a little bit of all of these but I definitely need to learn to take help from others. I'm more inclined to help people and do everything by myself. It does tire me out and I need to allow people to offer their kindness much as I like to offer mine.

I do this all the time. I compare myself with a couple of cousins all the time. They both have their famlies. I don't. Not only that. One of them also live in one of the safest towns in this country.

Video idea for ppl who raised with abuse. 'what it means to do things for yourself ' because I honestly have no idea. what counts as doing it for myself? What does it mean to put yourself first.

I keep having negative thoughts, but they are a product of the environment I live in. It's kind of like being thirsty in a dry hot desert. I would have better thoughts in a better environment.

Please cover mood and eating. How using food to cope with anxiety and fluctuating sugar/insulin levels hinders your ability to regulate your emotions, even cause panic attacks.
