I feel like Ive found my forever person, what do u guys think?
I met him on the harbor cruise (I knew him before that but we never spoke but my old friend used to go on a date with him so thats how I knew him)
We were talking and having fun on the cruise with our friends too and I was excited cuz this was my first time on a cruise so I was happy and filled with joy (despite getting into a minor car crash before the cruise) it made up for that.
We made videos just having the time of our lives and we just talked and talked, I felt comfortable immediately somewhat like a connection, that moment I already liked him to that point and was sure of how I felt, so I made a move quickly which was dumb but I tried doing it as a joke (it was sitting on his lap) and did it for a quick second he was shocked lol
I asked for his discord and stuff after the cruise and we talked after that too, we started getting to know eachother a little more and we started dating (I admit our friends kinda pressured us to date at first but I was already planning to ask him out the 2 days after anyways
We hit it off really well and had dates and got comfortable extremely quickly, I felt so comfortable I felt like I could be myself (despite me being an overthinker) I felt so calm and so happy, and yesterday I told him some things Ive felt guilty about for years and the words he said to me made me instantly feel like. Hes the one
People have made me feel somewhat similar but not like that, there was something there that made me feel like that, Im not sure what, but I liked it and felt comfortable with it, Im also someone whos been in tons of relationships, all ended horribly and were toxic and I was affected by them all, it felt like I could never catch a break until now, until I found him

But that all was gone. Because he confessed to me when we were texting. I already knew way back before he told me be had a crush, I was afraid that he might confess and I would have to reject him. But it happened anyway. Because of that we dont talk to each other anymore. I was so disappointed and I just felt so extremely sad. He literally make my day better because of stress from school. He was the only one I opened up to very easily and show my real energetic self. When we started talking, I was already fond of him and I just felt like he was the right person to be with. And thats all wasted because I made his confession awkward. I wish I couldve been more comforting and worded better.
This is just a vent. I dont have anyone to talk

But how we really understand that they are not pretending, I mean these days people see these videos, they learn what to do to attract for a while they make us happy and showing themselves kind and thoughtful but when they reached they goals they immediately change ( specially when a man or a woman is popular with lots of people I mean rich, handsome and these stuffs
PS: Im not that rich and gorgeous person Im just curious because Ive seen lots of these people that they just jump to relationships for better chances and not love, sadly these people specially these women always reach to their goals and the poor man see the woman real face when its too late )

Okay, Psych2Go, this is a good one. I recently criticized some of your other videos but this one is legit. I've been married for more than thirty years to someone that alternately drives me nuts and makes me laugh, but it's never boring. There are several good points here, like fighting fair (a big thing in marriage, being instantly comfortable around him/her, and being able to be completely vulnerable with someone. Good on you, mate!

One thing I have learned from experience is that finding your forever person and believing it with all your heart. doesn't mean at all that you are their forever person.
I just want to underline that, to avoid people believing they don't have to continue to work on relationships or to assume they are attractive to others.

What if I feel drawn to somehow and can open up to them easily, but I still don't trust them enough to tell them everything?
