I'm not looking forward to that thanks.
I just want people to shut up and leave me alone if I don't step out to find someone.
I'm not bothering them so why they act concern about me without having a partner at this age when all i experience during my younger age was humilating experience whenever my parents noticed that someone is showing interest on me. Everyday every night I got scolded. I feel shameful infront of my younger siblings so I end up takinh down everyone who tries to show interest in me til one day- I literally lose interest in dating and Im content and happy being single. My younger sister has a partner now and even she's still on the right age my mom still scolding her whenever she notices the two is going out often. Seeing that scenery literary making me lose my interest to date and also to introduce someone to her. It's so troublesome. Also im not the type that can enjoy a secret relationship bcoz if I'm happy about something I share it to them. My heart will explode if O don't do thAt. So. in the end. i just found its troublesome and thinking about it making me stressed and scared. As human you can't stop beinv attracted to someone and in my case, whenever it happens my brain literally giving me a warning to avoid that person and never ever make any chance to become connected with that person. And when my college crush contacted me after 15years ( i remembered he said I might end up with you someday. Don't forget me) And he literally did contacting me and asking if I'm still single and if idont have plan on marrying - I felt scared. Also on the other hand, he was dating different girls from the past 15 yrs so even he chose to end up with me its a NOOOOOOO! NOBODY can steal my happy peaceful single life. Leave me alone. But if God literally wants me to marry then why not. I believe there's no such stressful happening if it's time for me. Just like other good couple said- it comes naturally. Even you are not thinking of it. So I hope everyone just shut up and mind their own bussniess. Unless if pushing me to find a partner can cause to save the climate or cause a world peace I might consider lookong for someone but nah! That will never happen

In a healthy relationship couples communicate, dont lose touch with themselves, & know when to be selfish.
With real love & not just infatuation, youre going to question why youre with your partner & if you still love them. Thats okay. In a healthy relationship 1/2 the time you love together. The other half is split into a 1/4. What happens during this period is that the love will be one sided. One person loves & the other accepts it. Sometimes you both of dont feel like you love each other any more. During these hard times communicating & rebuilding your relationship is how you get through it. Its not fun but its worth it. After that your relationship is stronger.
Its also important to remember that your partner shouldnt make you feel like youre incomplete without them, but they should make you feel like you are even better at being you with them because they help you learn & grow.
But if you feel like youre losing yourself in your relationship, you have more bad times than good, &/or you dont feel like you have value without them, I strongly recommend that you do research on what unhealthy relationships look like & ask yourself if your relationship is harmful to you or the person youre with.
I hope this helpful to anyone in relationship or wanting to be in one. & for those of you who arent, thats okay too. I want everyone to live their best lives

I had my first relationship (and only, so far) from last year to early this year, aged 14. It was an honest and true love, at least from my side, but because of everything I'd been through, I didn't even know what my personality was and acted like a completely different person. The facade eventually faded when I became happier, but then her love started to fade too, because the facade was what she fell in love with. She became clingy and desperate because of her own issues and I couldn't let her go because I knew she needed me. Eventually she saw how much this was hurting me and broke up with me herself, in the kindest way she could. I still miss her a little sometimes. I think I always will. But all I can do now is hope that she's getting on ok, that she's happy and she's moved on. A part of me will always love that bright, energetic, emotive and kind girl.

Why is the risk of cancellation even existent? Are we that bored of our own life that people constantly have to criticize others for like everything?
Asides that, the 'cancellation' can easily be avoided:
Date in private
Love in private
Talk out any kind of problems out with your partner directly and do not hold any visible grudges via social media.
And only ask your friends directly about any opinion on how to solve a conflict.
On the one hand, the point that a great support system/opinions from friends may help you out of a toxic relationship is valid. On the other hand, everybody should be responsible for their own life decisions and people should live and let live people for their own accountability' sake.
All in all, I really don't get cancel culture.

I've never been in love until now. I think. I'm still unsure if this is that. I've never dated or been in a relationship before. Anyhow, the person I'm involved with was in a relationship with someone for 5 years. Their teenage years up until first few years of college. They broke up almost 3 years ago. We started talking first half of the year. I can't help but feel like it's unfair sometimes even when I know it's not his fault. I wished he didn't experience that young love cause like this video says, the younger the love, the harder the fall. I wish we were each other's first love. Maybe this is one of the reasons why I can't say those 3 words to him. Anyone went through this? What did you do?

Im still in high school and young so I might be overdramatic, but so far liking someone has taught me it only ruins friendships. I liked someone for like 2 years and then he just stopped talking to me, no explanations or anything. Then I liked someone in my friend group, we got together because he pretended to like me and the loneliness our other friend felt made them SUPER depressed, and then I confessed to a friend because I just wanted to be honest, and hoped we could still be friends, and luckily we are but he didnt wanna talk to me for the entire summer and I was convinced he hated me. Love has made me so insecure and clingy and lonely, I just wish I was aromantic lol

Love can be intoxicating. Wow I actually learned that the hard way. Found a crush, gotten jealous and made poor decisions and lost friends and the crush. I had to learn that the hard way as well. And now I learned to keep it in check and have to get it right now. I have learned to remain strong and remain cautious at all time. And yes. I also been canceled too because of it. I wont lie. It sucks. To learn about this now. But better now then never. I am just focusing on myself and I am learning to deal with the mistakes I made and becoming a better person.

Back in high school. I was once kept getting pressured to start a relationship almost constantly by my step-brother, while he's been phasing through one girl after another and all of his relationships barely lasted a week.
And yeah, social media (especially twitter) have been a breeding ground of unforgiving, perfectionist, self-righteous toddlers who are possibly hypocrites.

Ive got a question for the first aspect! The fact that love can intoxicating. Ive been feeling like this lately is there a way I can improve the situation? Ive talked with boyfriend that I was feeling like that, but I still feel the presence of nervousness and tiredness, loss of appetite, etc. The feeling is unbearable What can I do myself to overcome this issue?

Eyo, Psych2Go, I have a great video suggestion: I find the MBTI 16 personality types incredibly interesting, and it's a great topic on psychology, maybe talk about some of each personality types traits? You don't have to, I just really like this topic so it would mean alot if this topic showed up on here.
Thanks for the videos! I must sleep now: )

I never went to a homecoming dance until my senior year at my new school. No girl would dance with me. I didn't have girlfriend and struggled with finding love. Found someone who I thought loved me for who I was only to find out she was looking for a sperm donor and paycheck. Love sucks and I only been on two dates post divorce. I hate my life.

The harsh truth that I was forced to accept 15 years ago was that I will always be ugly and worthless to women. It is especially true since I keep getting cruelly rejected and insulted by women. Hence, I am in my late 30s with no dating experience and have already accepted that I will be single for my entire life.

Love is the second most powerful human emotion aside from fear. It brings the most joy, yet it can also cause the most pain. Pain that drives people to insanity.
Edit: We might still be in an era of loneliness. And that could be because people have had enough of getting hurt. It's hard to trust Love now a days.

im on the aroace spectrum so everyone so often me and my girlfriend take a break and spend a week or two just by ourselves, half because were both autistic and managing relationships is difficult for us and half because it keeps us both happy and we arent as depressed as we were with past relationships!

It took me decades to understand both my people-pleasing tendencies rooted in Daddy issues plus bullying, and my addiction to the highs of dopamine and oxytocin which, ironically, came from my super loving huggy Mom. Too many extremes on both ends. I had to learn to reign my emotional addictions in.

Its kinda weird how the first part of the video was conflating love with infatuation and then at the end, that quote directly contradicts that.
Love and infatuation are too different things and the intensity of an infatuation doesn't determine the amount of love you feel.

reply

Some people are really twisted and are just out there to form a close bond with someone as a tool to inflict harm on others, it's surprisingly common, and often difficult to detect until a lot of damage has already been done, stay safe out there everyone

Love is important.
However, love is not an only important matter in human life.
If there is no love around you,
that means now is the time to prepare for another important issues.
Don't be disappointed, stay human.

We should know correct age does matter after child age many people's getting in love nothing bad in it but we should learn these harsh truths so that it will not hurt us later and never distract yourself towards your goals that's it.
reply

0: 22 you call it romantic but for me romance is only unconscious emotional intimacy what I'm looking for is conscious emotional intimacy.
0: 53 you can feel lonely even if you have not experienced love you know.

reply

Eh some of us will never be loved. That's life tho. You only get guaranteed death in the end. No one loves many of you and no there isn't someone out there for you either. Some of us just live to suffer.
reply

Nah. I learned to not love anyone. They only hurt me if they know. Now just wanna be left alone. It gets lonely but at least it's my time. Nobody wants to be lonely w people. That shit's terrible.
reply

Honestly after spending more than 5 years in a relationship I feel that it ruined my life. And destroyed my motivation to find any new one for the future. I have been like this for 4 years now.
