I HAD to click on this. Why I have a sweet tooth, and for the longest time when I was a kid and into my teen years, I drank _nothing_ but soda, with some milk and OJ in the morning. My family weren't very health conscious, and still aren't, so no one took issue with it.
One day, I decided to at least stop drinking soda three times a day, and instead switch to only one a day, but find other drinks. Flavored water worked wonders.
Now, I've taken it a step further. I've gone so far a whole year without a _single drop_ of soda, and plan to go another 5 and a half years before drinking it again. This year, I decided to cut out all sweets for 6 months, so any sugar that isn't in one of my juice drinks, or in the foods that have at least _some_ healthy-ness to them (like, I eat Fluffernutter, so marshmallow fluff sometimes, or granola bars with chocolate, though I don't eat those too often. Reducing my sugar intake at least.
My idea is, even if I LOVE sugar and soda, I want to AT LEAST give my body a long enough for it to at least. recover or reset from me dumping SO MUCH sugar and all the other stuff in sweets and soda into it for so long. Give my body a chance for a fresh start, and if I'm up to it, keep things more limited so that I can be at least a bit healthier.

Regarding the thumbnail, it did not seem like L was so very much affected by consuming all those loads of sugar while fighting Kira It is already more than 20 years since I stopped consuming that white poison (in my teens, actually, when I turned macrobiotic, although now I am vegetarian, and it is utterly inconceivable to me that so many still keep on poisoning themselves with that product. It is beyond comprehension that people can actually be addicted to it, sugar should be equaled to cocaine and heroine in terms of hazardousness to health. It is truly beyond logic that it still has not been forbidden. An incredibly powerful business lobby supportive of sugar must be hiding in the shadows and leading this world-wide crime against humanity.

I have a slight sugar addiction and i get depression episodes if i go more than a couple days without eating something with a ton of sugar in it. Im pretty athletic and besides all the sugar, i eat pretty healthy, so im pretty skinny, so i never really realized it was a problem. I always thought that as long as im skinny that my health is fine. I never have had a binge eating problem, but i would always turn to sugary foods when i was feeling upset about something. I eat sugary stuff literally everyday and i dont know how i dont have diabetes yet.

As a diabetic, I have to be extra careful with sugar of any kind. I find that a treat once in a while is good. Or find the healthiest desert i can. For example, Angel food cake And a cup of fruit is a good dessert. It doesn't have all the fat like some desserts do. I, also, add extra water to koolaid and fruit juices. It puts more water in my body and makes me feel like I am drinking more. Bc i can drink 8oz apple juice with 8oz water and i am more satisfied. Besides, apple juice is made mostly from concentrate so why not dilute it more.

I love sugar and I won't leave it no matter what Psych2go or anyone says. Sugar gets a bad rep for no reason. Let peoplr eat what they want, many people eat sugar but stay healthy. Without sugar we dont have mental health activities like cooking and baking. Why should we limit ourselves when we have a limited life, we should eat what we want man. Health is different for each person. So, this video of Psych2go, even though I'm a usual supporter.
I shake it off, I shake it off!

1. Inflammation (too much sugar triggers anxiety in sensitive persons & inflammation in the brain)

2. Feelings of fatigue (due to insulin -> blood sugar drops)

3. Addictive (worse than c0c4ine)

4. Healthier replacements (slowly decrease sugar doses, reduce soft drinks, try fructose [more fruits], drink water with a squeeze of e. g. orange)

I strictly eat healthy from Sunday to Friday. And I allow myself 2 junk food days, and then I go back to eating healthy again. And if I’m having sugar cravings, it’s either fruit, yogurt or a granola bar. I feel shame for even treating myself to junk food, even on my birthday and stuff like that. I need to never eat junk food, even if it is a special occasion.

I have been doing well cutting most sugars and going for protein (Meat, eggs and some beans. A piece of fruit a day is fine though. I have lost some 75 pounds w/o exercising since summer of 2023. I do cheat on occasion and I can tell by the scale when I have. If I were more strict, it would not surprise me if I would have been down a full 100 pounds.

decreasing sugar from my diet was hard but it was definitely worth it for me, coming from a long line of people with sugar cravings. i noticed a lot of clearer focus, better sleep, and just better mood in general. it’s nice to indulge once in a while, but it can really feel awful if you’re taking in too much, at least from my experience.

The thumbnail showing L from Death Note, he does indeed have a sweet tooth.
Ironically enough, over analyzing death note uploaded chapter 24 yesterday.
Speaking of chapter 24, there's the old man from scene 24!
What is he doing here
He is the keeper of the bridge of Death, he asks each traveler five questions.

I'm gonna to take this step, and maybe, just maybe on the process i die, but is okay! B)

Well if you think about it, the first line of defense to your body besides the skin is the mouth. Well sugar, caused dental damage. It erodes the enamel, and if it can do that to a solid, it’s a pretty bad thing. So if it can do that to your teeth, then it certainly bad for your body.

I think that a big x-factor for sugar is fiber. I also think that it's the fiber and vitamins in fruit that makes it healthier, more than the fructose. Fiber prolongs absorption and also does a lot to lower cholesterol in much the same way.

To be fair, there isn't much sugar in our foods. It's high fructose corn syrup. Also, every carbohydrate is sugar. That's what carbohydrate is, sugar. The main fuel for our bodies and one of the most prevalent food sources in our society.

Even the biggest bouncers knew better than to touch me with malice in their hearts.
Also, I never did a line of R. C. Cola off a pretty white girls butt, but now I want to try it since this voice says it's just as good.

I didn't need to be surprised, my body started rejecting too much sugar about 5 years ago. Once the doctor linked it to diabetes I switched to artificial sweeteners and I've been fine (within reason) since.

What's funny is that I actually stopped drinking soda religiously a long time ago. I stick to Propel Water (it's just flavored water )
I only drink sodas when going out to eat at a nice restaurant

Excellent video, thank you. I have recently cut out sugar, alcohol, gluten, dairy, and caffeine and I've noticed a huge difference. Healthy alternatives and some easy exercise are also a must.

Psych2Go Ty for your soft spokeness and easy approach to hard things within our lives. Not everyone in my own life is as soft and caring so it’s refreshing to hear your words. Thank you.

For a while, I dropped my levels of consumed sugar significantly, but recently realized they've snuck their way back in the form of Arizona Green Tea. One can is 92% of your daily sugar.
