I've known her online for quite a while (5 years) and since a few months when we started using voice chats we've actually grown really close together. So for some of these things I couldn't say yet. When either of us is quiet in a voice call it's not the same as sitting together in silence, no idea about shopping habits (though we both prefer to keep the amount of time spend on it as low as possible for different but yet somewhat similar reasons, I've met her good friends in a group call and I instantly liked them (and afterwards I heard from her that her best friend mentioned how well we compliment each other, and even though it's been going like this for a few months already I still sometimes smile like an idiot when I see she's online.
Once I have a few things settled and saved up a bit, I am going to meet her in real life. If I carefully manage everything, I could be ready within 2 months to finally give her a physical hug instead of word hugs.

I feel this could be. We get along, we enjoy our company and silence. Sometimes we have stumbled upon each other at the same supermarket before and after being gfs. I do find her imperfections cute, including the physical ones. And it's exciting to go out together even after 2 years or staying over her place. We don't care about oversharing or telling each other certain sensitive secrets.
But my spidey sense keep telling me something can go wrong at any time, because of the way everything started (we weren't looking for anything 'serious' when we met, iykwim. It's tiring because of how it stops you from fully opening your heart to someone else that seems to really care about you.

Meh, the same friends one is bullcrap. Me and my bestie don’t have many of the same friends, but we do have some things in common. But not all things. Couples don’t have to have everything in common, just enough that they can have things to do and talk about, but you can also participate a little in their interests even if you don’t particularly enjoy it, you can watch them be happy enjoying it and you may even find that you actually enjoy some aspects of their interests. While we’re not a couple, we are besties who get along really well most of the time.

Don't listen to what people say about the whole having high expectations is unrealistic when it comes to a romantic relationship because it's better to settle for more than less when it comes to love. While life may not be about finding your carbon cut copy it's just as important to find someone who's similar enough that understands your given personality while also having enough diversity to keep things new and interesting for both parties.
