What Happens If Yellowstone Blows Up Tomorrow? I wonder who the intended audience is. Its a volcano in the US. The narrator has an American accent. But then go to use Germany to represent the size of federal parks. What? As an American that doesnt mean much to me. Then using kilometers in all measurements? Thats not how I measure distance. I realize that most of the world is metric I just think this is a US video using comparisons and measurements that just ring with its audience.

It erupts. USA ceases to exist. Most of populated Canada as well. The western half of the world, probably down to Panama (roughly) is into the stone age. The rest of the world will be tossed back to medieval age within a year due to the complete collapse of pretty much ever world economy, dead crops and animals planet wide.
Yellowstone is mother earths -Big red reset- button

-The United States is one of the most beautiful countries in the world- -The list goes on and on-. Lets just not consider the fact that the usa is the 4th largest country in the world, and we practically own a continent. Im sure if Europe was a country instead of a bunch of states/countries it would also be competing for the most beautiful country in the world. lmao

why not just send a giant core drilling machine to the pressure chambers of the volcano if you release the pressure before it gets to its eruption point then you wont have a volcano eruption just keep tabs on as many pressure chambers as possible and start sending those core drilling machines to those hot spots as needed untill she has no more pressure to release

You published a video aout an America National park using the metric system! People who publish videos with measurements need to use both if their videos will be seen in the US and Europe! So I stopped your video and gave you a thumbs down! The US uses the Imperial System of measurement, not the metric system clown!

America's best case scenario would be to turn to God and drop the hypocrisy. In God We Trust? It's printed on your IOUs(money, in bold letters at the capital and people still lie, cheat and continue to be hypocritical. A country of losers. Because if your not on God's side, your going to lose, for eternity.

The graph near tge beginning shows very clearly an eruption is DUE if not overdue by 28, 000 years. The magnetic poles are in motion still and have migrated very far from the start point in just around 100 years, it actually sped up to 5x its speed in the last decade. This is about to happen.

'They cover an area of 85 million square kilometres'.
The hell they do. Germany is around 350, 000 square kilometres, the USA just under 10 million.
According to this video the US parks would thus cover the USA 8. 5 times. the metric system is not that complicated guys.

If Yellowstone blew, everything west of the continental divide would separate, rotate down CCW and jam up along side south America, potentially dislodging south America sending it across the Atlantic and getting hung up where south America was. Look at my map

The prevailing jet stream would not allow an even distribution of ash. Why are you using the metric system when the target audience is an imperial user of measurement. I know it sounds worse given the metric numbers are larger, but really?
reply

Your talking about a place within the U. S. A. I've got a newsflash for you Tinker-bell. we don't use no shtinkin' meters. When talking about something in this country, to the people who live in this country, then you talk American, ya falla?
reply

Well one thing that will definitely happen is China will invade. They have written plans to invade any country that has been seriously damaged by natural disasters. If you don-t believe me do your own research.

As an underground guy, im a little surprised they haven't drilled it. We call em burp holes to relieve pressure while directional boring. It wouldn't be that hard. I don't know if it'd make a difference though.
reply

Such a large area has to have weak spots that would release the pressure before the whole volcano blows. It most likely be alot smaller than they are describing. But the ash would be still be devastating.
reply

40 seconds in: the US parks cover an area of 85 MILLION square kilometres. This is the size of Asia, Africa, and Europe combined.
Americans ---> Don't know geography, don't know the metric system

I lived in Nebraska when I first heard about this and figured if it happened that I-d be dead sooner or later lol. Now I live deep in the south and wanna look back and see how I would do out here lol

I switched from a Mark Rober video, and it accidentally merged like this
-Who has a passion for everything--
-Which would make food production within the United States, severely crippled.

some leading scientist say it will not have a massive eruption for one reason there to many release valves so to speak, geysers and other areas. At most a magma release, Nothing explosive.

I-ve lived in Utah most of my life. I-ve been to Yellowstone and learned about the possibilities-I don-t like to think about it. But thank you for helping with my anxiety -
reply

Why use metric when talking about the US? Why not at least put the conversions on the screen? Youre also from the US it seems lol. Trying to seem smarter by using metric?
reply

Supervalcano only means it has had a super eruption in the past. It actually means its less likely to happen in the future. Stop with the fear mongering.

Mother Earth laughed. -I quiver, and the cities of Men fall, yet these mortal puppets think they own me. Climate change due to Human activity? Please. -
reply

You know if Yellowstone Park ever blew up, I think most of the United States would go with it as there are other geological factors involved! -
reply

basically there is no telling when it blows up based on the intervals between these eruptions. The causes of these eruptions can differ greatly
reply

How are you gonna do a video based on the US and use the metric system. Ugggghhhh! So gross. Go back to anywhere else! I assume Canada.
reply

As a scientist. this is what i believe. it wouldnt go this way. AT all. this is worse than nuculear war. absolute horrific outcome
reply

It isnt 10, 000 years away, it is just few decades away when those same experts will say Yellowstone will blow up in 3 weeks.
reply

I wouldn-t lose any sleep over this, this thing won-t go up for another couple of thousand years. This video is click bait
reply

Ive heard this since i was alittle boy way back in the 50s, predictions about disaster. I wouldn't hold your breath.
reply

What the F-ck is a meter. This is a story about a park in the United States where we use yards, feet and inches.
